Amazing Alexandria Egypt style seafood. The service is outstanding and the food is cooked to perfection. It's truly authentic and super fresh and flavorful. The fish is so tender and juicy it almost melt in your mouth. It all Tates like home. Like it was fresh caught from the Mediterranean.
I’m sorry, the fish is worth $22.99?? Fish that’s as big a my hand? I’m 5’ for reference. The calamari I ordered was $17.99 and they gave me such a small amount. I ordered from Ubereats after looking through pictures from reviews and the portions looked reasonable from the pictures. My total was $47.24 but what I got wasn’t worth that.
Fish is fresh and tasty. The fish is pretty big portion and the rice that comes with it is tasty. The only thing is the menu prices are block so u don't know how much each item cost until you foot the bill.
Don't look for a fancy seating look for taste, it might take to long to get your order or might get it on a few trips from the kitchen but the home made Egyptian way to cook fresh salt water fish is hear, it might be a little expensive for the looks but the taste is hear $25 to $30 for one fish but I enjoyed ???
This is my first order from this place, i ordered a branzini with rice and salad the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, the rice was flavorful and the salad was great.
Absolute favorite restaurant in New Jersey. I am transported back home to Alexandria, Egypt. You must order the grilled stripped bass,eggplant, jumbo shrimp and rice pudding. Please understand that the fish isn’t burnt, it just is cooked with a special seasoning that blackens the skin. Let us not be ignorant like a few of these reviewers…
You don’t come here for the atmosphere, You come here for the Food, and the food itself is absolutely top notch. The grilled shrimp and shrimp rice are especially absolutely fantastic.You can tell that it’s cooked with love and care and feels like a homemade meal. The staff was very nice and polite as well as quick with serving our food.That being said. I do think that the overall condition of the restaurant should be better kept. The air was a bit cold and it felt a bit lacking in terms of cleanliness.
Just discovered this hidden gem! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, such friendly service...The lemon mint was refreshing and the rice pudding was a creamy heaven.It felt like we were in Egypt ❤
