Food is delicious!!! And I love how they give you plenty of white and red sauce with their platters!! I order from Uber eats and they deliver within 20 mins
We tried the chicken/lamb combo over rice and a lamb gyro. Everything was delicious! I almost want to move to Jersey City from Arizona, that's how much I miss this food. The gentleman working there was very nice and joked around with us. He was also working alone which is very impressive. If I'm ever back in Jersey City I'm making it a priority to visit this truck again!
Typical halal food cart, the food is hit or miss. I've ordered a few times due to proximity and delivery time. Lamb sucks, it's a cutlet cut into pieces, it's not shawarma.The chicken if it's made fresh, it's good, well spiced and flavorful. But you could end up getting chicken from 2 hours ago which would be dry AF.One thing which is consistently good and fresh, is the falafel. Its made to order and perfect temp, flavor.Its definitely worth a try, but its a gamble, you'll either be really satisfied or really disappointed.
DON’T BUY FROM THIS PLACE!Worst customer service ever! Will never eat from this cart ever again. I paid for my food with card and it had an option for tip which I declined. The guy said “thank you for the no tip” and then later asked if I was indian stating that “india people don’t tip”. This man was so rude, it’s no surprise there was no one else in line. I tip if the service is good and the way I was treated left a very bad impression of this man and his business. I will never come to this place ever again.
My favorite thing to order is the combo plate with chicken and lamb, and I get it extra spicy. I think this is one of the best Halal places in the area.I personally get the sauces on the side and slowly add to my preference. In fact, I think a lot of negative experiences with Halal food is not getting the right sauce

I ordered one platter and three tacos, I was the only person in line and the man took 40 minutes just for that single order. He took 5 minutes just to pack the food right in my face. It was literally like someone hit the slow motion button on him the entire time. He was on the phone so I’m assuming the call was more important. He just lost a customer. I was in the are again a few days later and got a platter from up the block, tasted better and two platters took 10minutes to make.
