Was at Newport today, and sought this out to try it after seeing the news of the installation a few months ago. First thing, the touch screen on the machine was almost non-operational, I had to push excessively hard for it to register what I was selecting. Once I got past that and paid, a 6ish minute timer started before the burger was delivered. The burger itself was nothing spectacular, it was pretty dry and had a pitiful amount of cheese on it (the previous review calling it a "dot" of cheese was dead on). The ketchup and mustard were concentrated on one side of the bun, making it very messy to eat, which was not good given the machines location away from the food court and any seating.Overall, 3 stars for making a burger that was if nothing else, edible. However, for $7.55, you can get a better burger from McDonalds and probably get it faster.
I walk by this daily in the mall and I have seen it to be functional exactly 2 days out of 6 on average. Given the operational hours are already only 11-3 PM, so what we have is a robot that is functional 8 hours out of 168 in a week. Not to mention there are literally two people standing by always whose job is only to wait for and fix the next breakdown.
The hours are mon through sun 11-3pm. Whats the point of that??? I came to try it on a Sunday and was so disappointed. I saw the press release that mentioned the hours are 24/7 so when you come out of a movie and nothing is open you can get a burger. I thought that was so smart! But lies. Limited hours and its not even close to the food court or movie theater. Poor execution.
It's a ok burger but they advertise you get a slice of cheese and when I look under bun it's like one little dot of cheese. So for 6.99 not worth it.
Beats McDonald's, BK, White Castle, Wendy's and it's made by a robot. Amazing.
Omg the future is here! Love it!
Great burger let’s see how often it breaks down though
Best place in JC.
Best tatortots around. Not the best place to to dancing. Sometimes they get some good music playing.
