A family owned, hole in the wall, gem! This place is tiny and may seem a little sketchy from the outside but the owners were so sweet and the pernil with rice and beans was some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely request pieces of skin because omg they were so crunchy and bursting with flavor.
Nothing but Abuela and Abuelo love and good food here.Ricky's is a small, family owned, to-go spot with simple Spanish plates at great prices.They normally have chicken, steak, rice, beans, and empanadas.A plate for chicken with rice and beans is $7.Steak is $8.Empanadas are $1.50!They are all huge servings and deeeelish.This is true home cooked goodness and the couple here are so nice.I'll choose this spot over any other latin restaurant in the neighborhood.They keep your belly full and grandpa's positive vibes and short stories about his glory days will keep you there for a few extra minutes chatting about nothing. Just like grandpa's do. Love it!
