Nice place to eat and stop in the mall, however it can be incredibly crowded here and sometimes it feels a bit dirty as some tables are not always cleaned. Overall the food is good especialy the soups. Would recommend but also not to forget to check out the other food options in the food court.
This is for the Newport Panera. The food is good budget friendly, however the place is dirty. The carpeting is disgusting and worn. The table are always dirty, seats are dirty. I don't see workers cleaning tables only walking around. The tables outside are always dirty. If I go there, I bring my own wipes to clean the table. They need to step it up, and act like they care about the wellness of customers.
I frequent paneras all over the place and never had panera food nearly this bad before. The cream of chicken and wild rice soup was VERY Watery- wasn't the normal thick and creamy soup at all. My chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was sloppily thrown together and the contents were more off the sandwich than on the sandwich. There was hardly any chicken. Very disappointed and will not go back to this location. No wonder it was empty when I went to pick up my order.
Writing on behalf of a friend. They used to love Panera but recently had a bad experience at the Newport location. She planned to dine in but had to use the restroom first. The bathroom floor was so sticky it stuck to her shoes, so she had to let a manager know. The manager then told a staff member to clean the bathroom, and she responded, "(If it's sticky) they don't need to be going in there!" After that rude comment, my friend STILL stood in line for about ten minutes waiting for someone to take their order. Frustrated, unacknowledged, and with sticky shoes, my friend decided to take her money elsewhere.
Rudest servers work in this store. Went for dine in. They messed up my order, waited 30 min before they confirmed that my order was received. They handed me food that I ordered for dine in and after sitting to eat, they told me that they need to close their dining room and I can not eat there. So we packed the food while my 3 yrs old was begging for food and went and sit outside and unpacked our food again and as soon as we start eating, someone came and said you can not sit here. I told him that you just said dining room is closed and I ordered dine in and that they need to fix their system because if I knew I can not eat here I did not buy food. He said that it is not his problem that system is like that. I regretted the tip that I paid for dining in. I not only did not dine in but also treated poorly. The guy who interacted with me threatened me rudely. Never shop or eat in this place.
Very nice staff, one of the better paneras I've been to. Always fast service never anything wrong. Area kept clean is a plus too.
Incredibly rude and annoyed looking staff. Breakfast no longer served at 10:25am despite sign that it’s available until 10:30am. Despite place being completely empty staff walks around not paying attention to someone waiting to order.
Today Mark the manager reminded me why I love Panera bread. His energy was very welcoming. He was handing the orders out and called my name clear and correct. My name is difficult to many but he attempted and did well on both attempts. He also walked around dinning room asking if anyone needed anything and told us to call him if we needed anything. I was even more enamored with Panera bread because they are back to using real utensils! It was out of their control i understand but It felt good. Overall my experience today was great!

Tried a couple items this time.Mac + Cheese Sandwich: Surprisingly, very good, the mixture of cheese is good and the pasta was tender. The bread was soft and toasty, it tastes exactly like you would imagine it. Mac + Cheese on bread.Flatbread Pizza: Not a winner here. The bread is tasteless, like dough with no seasoning. The toppings qere fine, but everyall, it tastes like regular frozen pizza.Broccoli and Cheddar: Always a hit with me, I always get it. Nice reheated soup tastes amazing. I also enjoy buyong it in the super market, whicb is exactly the same soup!Overall, its a nice place to eat and take a break.
