One Dee Siam in Jersey city has excellent quality food and good portions per plate. The only downside is the slightly longer wait time between your orders. The service is a bit slow. The restaurant is clean though and the servers are really nice. I highly recommend trying this place if you don't mind waiting a bit for your food.Strongly recommend -1. Thai basil entree with your choice of meat2. Pad gra pow from the speciality menu3. Thai iced tea

Best Thai and probably best food in DTJC at the moment. Fresh ingredients, delicious cooking. Also BYOB with nice decor!

A good addition to the dining scene in JC. nice interior. Good lighting. Spacious. Friendly staff. Flavorful dishes. The Thai iced tea is on point and a must have with your meal especially if you order something spicy. I ordered a dish called Two buddies which are shrimp and scallops with vegetables. Really good. The other Dushanbe was disappointing which was the crispy pork. It was too crispy. We think it was over cooked and dried. We do not recommend this dish.I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a good restaurant. It is different (not Italian and not Mexican/tacos). More variety and diversity is needed in JC.

I loved the food here. I have been hunting for a cozy Thai place in grove which serves the perfect chilli sauce and the minced basil chicken. This one definitely lives upto my expectation. My husband is a vegetarian and vegetarian food was really good.He tried the pineapple fried rice and it was great. I enjoyed dining at this place. We also ordered the Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee , both were good

I was here for dinner. The fish cakes were good. The soft shell crab was also good. The quality could be better. The staff was very friendly. They have BYOB currently.

Trending in the right direction to be the Thai staple in downtown JC.I’ve ate here probably 6 times split between takeout and dine in. With their grand opening things did started a little rough where service was poor and food was just alright. They were definitely under staffed and it was probably hard to hire. It looks like they’ve worked out their new restaurant pains. The last two times I ate there, the food is much better with more flavor. The service has also improved. I like every dish since then and am really enjoying this restaurant. Many of their specials are amazing especially the fried catfish salad and fried pork dish. I am also digging the papaya salad.I hope this trend continues and the quality continues to improve to a similar status like the Wondee Siam location in nyc.

We had Beef patai, pad gra prow chicken, soft shell crab, crispy pork Chinese watercress and cat fish salad. Catfish salad was amazing! They fried catfish and served with papaya. It’s so fresh and crispy also has savory flavor. Soft shell crab also very fresh. Their sauce was extraordinary. I highly recommend to have these menus. Patai is okay because noodles are too cooked. Pork was my least favorite food here. Prd gra prow also very good especially with the rice.

Well, this place is currently rated 3.8 stars on Google. I think that's a little generous. This is the first time we dined in at One Dee Siam. Last time we ordered take out (country style curry & pad Thai) about a month ago, the place was packed and the food was just ok.Tonight dining in, the place was full but quiet enough to have a conversation. The decor is traditional. The service was, as others have mentioned here, very slow. We actually had to walk up to the front to order and ask for water. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and duck pad grao. The fried rice the menu said would come in a pineapple -- it didn't (whatever). The fried rice was actually not bad, had a bit of an Indian curry powder flavor to it. The duck was overcooked and meh. It's absurdly expensive for what you get.We live here and want to like this place. We'll give it another chance in the new year.

Was excited to see a new Thai restaurant. The waiter was rude, surprisingly. There's better asking than "What do you want?" to a customer. Then we waited over 30 min for the food, granted the restaurant was packed on Thursday night. In my mind, two star would be appropriate. But the food came out and they were pretty darn good. I had to bump it up to 4 star.Extra rice is $2.50. Avg main dish goes for $16.95. The portions are comparatively small but OK. 3 adults bill would come close to $60.

I had the go chai(chive pancakes), fried tofu and the one Dee fried rice. All of it lacked flavour. The tofu was just plain cardboard like with not even salt for for seasoning. I would say chive pancakes are worth atleast trying compared to the other 2 things.
