Stopped by to see what their fruit selection was - hoping for some reasonably priced bananas for breakfast. I am not from Jersey City and was expecting high prices.I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were very reasonable. Also got some cut mixed fruit...was fresh and was happy with the purchase.Came back another morning to pick up a few more things to eat. Both times the cashier (different each time) was friendly. I was in and out with no hassle - and that is the perfect experience.

Small yet good fresh produce and nice variety but quality of checkout service has gone downhill.. used to be a pleasure to complete purchases but the past few months the guy at checkout has come across unwilling to help, uninterested and unscrupulous. Hope they improve soon..3 very similar stores within 2-3 min walk

honestly, smaller than other grocery stores but best organic fruits and veges on a budget. Also their prepped small dishes are amazing. So cheap as well 10/10

I get mushrooms here when the farmers market is closed as they're usually fresh. Today I was followed around the store by one of the clerks as if I were trying to steal something. When I said I was very uncomfortable with the experience and that it wasn't necessary to shadow customers, I was met with a smirk and "I didn't do that". He clearly did and did not apologize so I left and won't be back.

A little shop that packs a surprising variety of options. A limited selection of meats and fish is balanced out with very reasonable prices, and their wide range of produce is equally well-priced. Dry goods and dairy can run on the expensive side, but they also have a nice large selection of prepared foods (chicken/pasta salads, grilled chicken breasts or salmon filets, olives, veggies, etc) for an on-the-go lunch or dinner. Underrated gem is the octopus salad you can get in a small container. If there's one knock against Olivia's, it's a lack of fresh herbs available for purchase, but that's a problem common to supermarkets in this area too.

They seem to have a very steep mark up on grocery items. Milk that usually cost me $4-5 dollars in Whole Foods and Fresh Direct (not cheap places at all) was $7 here. Same with smallish yogurt. I remember being a little shocked as each item ran through. I think with so many choices in the area, I don’t think I would be back unless it’s a desperate situation.

Good local convenient neighborhood supermarket. Variety of Turkish products for a small supermarket. Very friendly staff.

The Korean takeout place inside the store has the best kimbob I’ve ever had!

Have bought produce (cherry tomatoes, garlic) from here multiple times only to come home and find mold. Most recently brought home packaged cucumbers from here and found a large bug squished underneath one of the cucumbers. Would not recommend their produce. Dry goods are fine and they have a nice olive oil selection but I only come here when I’m desperate for an ingredient.
