The food was delicious. Ordered the fried calamari, eggplant, and best of all the Branzino grilled fish.
Love this gem of a place! The garlic shrimp is to die for. Great staff and love the very unassuming atmosphere in there. Being in this place does make you feel like you have the transported to Egypt for a nice little seafood meal :)
I ordered takeout over the phone and got the Grilled Brazino Meal. Food was ready in 35 min, but by the time I got there it was still being prepped. The Brazino came with a salad, pita, tahini sauce, and brown rice. It was a pretty big portion, a whole fish (with bones in) plus all these aides! Fish was tender, and the meat was juicy. The skin was coated with herbs and was crunchy. There was a kick to the fish, since on think peppers were added. Note that it looks like online takeout prices look to be different than what you can get when you call in. This was a nice little hidden gem in the neighborhood I hope to come back to try some of their other seafood dishes.

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is great! The owner always lets us in on his receipts when we ask! Their shrimp rice is great and the baked or grilled fish never disappointment. The flavor is always immaculate.

Come here for flavor explosions in your mouth. Unexpected mom and pop restaurant with delicious food. Must get babaganoush and grilled shrimp in special garlic sauce! Can't wait to go back again.
Every single food that we tried was delicious. I loved the side dishes but you should try Alexandria Shrimp and branzino.
Amazing seafood place. They have great food for amazing prices. It's the best seafood joint in Jersey city hands down. You must try it !!!!. It's been there for decades.
