As a Hoboken resident who used to frequent both Malibu and Spa Diner (they’ve since closed), I’ve been looking for a good diner nearby. My boyfriend found Miss America by doing a quick Google search of best old school diners near us and this one was high on the list. We took the short drive over to Jersey City and were happy to see they had a parking lot which was extremely convienent. We walked in and within seconds we were greeted, seated and had hot, fresh coffee poured for us. The staff was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive and quick. The food came out and it wowed us even more. Shout out to our server, Maria, who had a smile on her face the entire time. She was so happy & it was contagious. I highly reccomend this diner to all nearby.
My family followed these owners to every restaurant they own. Always decent food in a pinch, great burgers.
Completely satisfied, food was good and the portions were hefty. Service was good, everyone had smiles, and seemed to work well together. Clean establishment, I utilized the restrooms and it was clean as well. We will return.
4.5 stars. The food was average to above average Diner food. But the vibe was 10 out of 10. A classic NJ Diner experience from the staff and the general feel of the Diner.
One of the best diners I’ve been to. No frills diner food that is delicious. Reminds me of my favorite diners from back home.
Miss America Diner is an amazing restaurant full of amazing staff and offers customers with the best customer service and the best quality food. I went in and the turn around time is quick and the vibe is lovely. I highly recommend anyone to go and try it themselves.
I remember enjoying this place back in the 2000s, but it's not the same anymore.
The food seems a little old. Bread hard, meat not as fresh as I expected. Some items I wanted was not there. The people were nice but the food could use a lot of improvement.
Great selection of food, and friendly staff! They take your order and get you your food in minutes. Great service, would definitely go there again!
My usual go to spot for breakfast don't know what happened this am. The gentleman was nice when I called to make them aware but he insisted that it couldn't have happened! But as well all know ANYTHING is possible we all human. No need to lie when you have receipts. I can't make up mold!!! Have a blessed Sunday all!!!!
