Gin fizz cocktail
FOOD [3/5]: They nail the presentation but the flavors are definitely lacking. We ordered the avo toast and the sweet potato sausage hash - both were fine.SERVICE [4/5]: Service was good, nothing special or put of the ordinary.VIBE [5/5]: Come here for the atmosphere - the place is gorgeous! The inside is a cozy farmhouse style and there is also a lot of outdoor seating. Great for a date or a family meal.
Every trip to Matthew’s is consistently great. The food, the service, the atmosphere... every box is checked. Funny enough, Bryant is ALWAYS our server… lucky us. He’s wonderful! This place has become a local go-to for my partner and I. We can’t wait until our next visit!
Really good cocktail especially during happy hour it’s 1/2 off.Good ambiance and service. Everything that we ordered were so good.
I’ve been here a few times and always had a great experience. I met a friend here recently for happy hour. (4-6 Wed-Fri) It’s such a great deal! I drank a One for the Chile. It was good. My friend had a rosé. We started with the bean dip- it was amazing. We also had the black garlic Mac and cheese- also fantastic. We split the Jerk mahi which came with rice. Also very good. Service was top notch. I can’t wait to come back.
Three family members had brunch on a Saturday. Arrived at 2pm with reservations and were seated right away. Restaurant was mostly full throughout our 1.5 hour meal. Seating inside and out, and outside seating included tented tables. No sign that the kitchen was stressed by the added capacity. Cocktails are fun (recommend the G&Tea). All of our food arrived promptly, but not too quickly. No complaints about the food at all - not stellar but flawless. Service was steady throughout - always accessible, always polite, always prompt with follow-through.
Great spot for outdoor happy hour in the summer. The drinks and food were both on spot. Plus they had umbrellas that (mostly) protected us from a random 5 min rain shower.
This place has been on my list for a while and I finally got the chance to give it a try. When I arrived I was lucky to find parking on the street nearby. They had indoor and outdoor seating. I walked in and the hostess said I can sit at the bar if I wanted and I chose to. Kristi was the bartender and she was nice. I started with a mimosa and ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with a side salad. The mimosa was tasty and the chicken sandwich was good but the coleslaw they added to the sandwich was a little on the sweet side which was a tad much. The side salad had a really good dressing. The bill came to ablut $26. The spot was super cute and I had a pretty good experience.
We came here on Sunday and they had delicious breakfast / brunch options.I couldn’t decide on what to order so my friend and I split two entrees. The eggs Benedict was super delicious and next time I’ll order a plate for myself. I also never had chicken and waffles and wanted to give it a try. It was alright, definitely not my kind of combo. I also wished that the chicken was slightly more crispier. The service was excellent and I will for sure be back!
Decent spot for brunch. It was happening, which also means distancing isn't optimal. The table next to us was not even 2 feet away. I'm a bit surprised there's no regulation considering the recent surge.I ordered Benedict. It was quite dry. Wifey ordered avocado toast and she liked it. We also got pancakes for the table - pancakes were good.I also got espresso martini which was good.
