You asked all the Potent questions already about the place. Everything was wonderful, Especially the waitress. The whole staff is wonderful.
We had an amazing evening celebrating a friendâs 25th wedding anniversary The hostess went out of her way to ensure we were seated outside since the noise level inside was very high. Alison was amazing with her service of food and drinks and very patient in taking order from a large group. She managed excellently ! The appetizers - mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, sushi rolls, calamari were all prepared perfectly. Not too oily or spicy.very aromatic and tasteful As the thunderstorm rolled in, they quickly moved us inside to continue our celebrations . The chef prepared vegetarian pasta for us and it was delicious as was the salmon! Very thoughtful and looked after by the team at the Resturant. Alison was a gracious server and never rushed us. I would recommend them at a heartbeat for any special occasions.
The atmosphere was very nice with a view overlooking downtown Manhattan. Service was poor...had to request cocktails...took a long time to receive the cocktails and meals...ordered the cauliflower steak with green curry but received florets of cauliflower instead with no curry whatsoever and no explanation ($24 for a cauliflower steak that was not what I received seems excessive)...also ordered the pasta with non-meat sauce and sauce received was bitter and flavorless...had to ask for complementary bread/rolls...overall it was a nice treat for us to go there but the value for $$ was disappointing.
Liberty House is always outstanding! Everyone there always makes it feel like home. Highly recommended for any occasion!

After a great walk around Liberty State Park on July 30, taking in the history and spectacular views, we enjoyed lunch for the first time at Liberty House. What a wonderful experience and A++ property and presentation. The food, service and attentiveness were exceptional. Peter C.
Exceptional food, service, view and overall experience. We went for Saturday lunch and sat outside with a view of the perfectly maintained gardens and the Manhattan skyline. Our server Brandon was a natural at his job: attentive without being overbearing. The food (I had spaghetti carbonara) was delicious. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals. Definitely will return.
The waiter and hostess were both very patient and catered to all our needs. Our waiter Alex was conversational and answered all our questions while making us feel welcome. He was excellent! The view is exceptional, day or night this was the perfect view we were looking for. The reason I donât give this a 5 star is because a few of us got sick that night we went home and we had the same plate which was the spaghetti carbonara. Although we felt horrible to bring an issue forth, we felt compelled to let Alex know we preferred a different bus boy due to severe body odor. The smell lingered in our area every-time he came by which became unbearable. We do plan on visiting again to hopefully give it another try!
Was ignored by the greeters for a good 5 minutes so they could finish their conversations when we walked in, then as we walked to our table we were hit with a serious body odour stench that did not dissipate the whole evening. Unfortunately that set the tone for the evening and after waiting for 20 minutes we were finally acknowledged by a waiter, who was lovely and made great conversation, but unfortunately we then had our meals which werenât worth the money charged. They had a wedding on (which was super noisy) so maybe thatâs where the attention was paid, but sadly- that shouldnât be your dinerâs problem. Wonât be going back.
