Been here multiple times. It has outdoor seating as well. My favorite is the Latham house Benedict. I did order salmon Benedict this time and it was equally good. Their ridiculous sandwich is brilliant. Pair it with their spicy Latham bloody spicy Mary. Order a side of bacon and you have your perfect weekend brunch. They do not take reservation and it’s a first come first serve bases. Come early and enjoy the food. They have excellent dinner and lunch menus too with a decent wine and beer collection. It’s good for large groups and the staff is always smiling and helpful. Pictures are from the dinner menu at the end.

The Latham House was outstanding before Covid and continues so now! Food was great Asian Salad, Cuban Ruben and Chicken Pot Pie. Our drinks while non alcoholic were perfect, hard to get a great lemonade or iced tea, right! Jeff was an outstanding server and made a dreary Wednesday a bright summer day!! Thanks so much.

I don’t usually repeat restaurants but Latham House’s consistency is on another level. I went there for the first time like three years ago but they didn’t change. The food and the ambiance is still great. I like the food especially their Brunch. Rabbi Revenge is my brunch recommendation. Try it out the next time you go. I tried their dinner with my friends 2 days ago and they didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the Scallops my friends ordered steak and they said it was a great choice too. It’s definitely on the top list of Brunch Places one should go to in Downtown Jersey City.I recommend recommend recommend!

I've been here a handful of times...and the food is always very good. Our waiter was great. And the overall experience did not disappoint.I will say that normally on a Friday or Saturday night the place is packed - but it was surprisingly not this weekend.Definitely recommend.

One of the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever had and I've had a LOT. Corned beef was so well seasoned and full of flavor. Perfect texture. The cheese combo was very complimentary also. Perfect.

That chicken pot pie is huge!No doubt you’ll be full after chomping on these bad boys. Ingredients were fresh and the crust good, but maybe a little too thick? The calamari had good batter, nice crunch when you bite into them. Good portion size also for them.Overall, impressed with their takeout food, I’d be curious to sit down and dine to get the full experience.

Who can resist a salty sandwich and pineapple juice on Sunday morning? We ordered Egg Your Away and Cuban Sandwich. Just look at the size of the sandwich. It is not like the bread wraps the beef, but more like beef covers the bread and cheese. If you are a meat lover, I will recommend this sandwich. As for drinks, we have Pineapple Juice and Pear Memosa, which are both delicious. I think the Pear Memosa surprises me the most as it offers a brand new fresh taste.Overall, we will come back again soon.

I went for dessert with a friend and shared this massive cookie sandwich. The owner partnered with Torico to make a custom ice cream flavor for Latham House. It was delicious and plenty for 2! Ordered an espresso martini to go with it.

We would visit Latham house on a regular basis since its only a block away. We always found the food to be mediocre and the service ok enough for us to return. We would always order something “safe” A couple of cocktails, fried calamari, a burger and a beer. Can’t really mess that up. We had just returned from Italy and decided to go to Latham House to unwind for a bit and since they have outdoor seating, bring our newly adopted doggo that we hadn’t seen in two weeks. It was quite a terrible experience. The pasta dish that my husband ordered was inedible. we brought this to the maitre D’s attention but no effort was made to compensate for such a bad dish. We were charged full price anyway. We asked for the charge to be removed since the dish was so bad only to be met by a very defensive and confrontational response. Fine, we paid the l price and decided never to return. Service is terrible, food mediocre at best. Avoid any pasta dishes.

Was hungry on a rainy Sunday & decided to try this place. Environment is so clean and nice, staff is really chill, I was caught off guard by the limited yet intriguing menu options. The food is really good, the lemonade was I’d say very ‘authentic’ could use some sugar Lol! Everything was well prepared & tasty nonetheless.
