Excellent food. Worth the trip to Journal Square just for the Jambalaya. Highly recommend the corn bread and banana bread pudding as well!
Awesome experience ??????The food (Gumbo ) was served fast, hot, and delicious ?.I will be a returning customer. The hospitalityMade us feel more like a guest than a customer. The home made Lemonade was very good too.
It's a neat little place that offers Cajun food. The environment is cozy and small, they have an outdoor seating area as well for those that want to enjoy the weather or are weary of COVID.The food was quite delicious. My partner particularly enjoyed the honey butter that was provided with the cornbread. The gumbo seemed to be a bit under salted but that was an easy fix. The desert though, was delicious. The beignets were very light and fluffy. The banana bread pudding had a nice caramelized layer wig a nice texture contrast. The shrimp was perfectly cooked though I would eat the bread and shrimp separately as it was a mouthful together. The jambalaya wasn't too spicy but they give you hot sauce and the rice was quite buttery.
I was so glad to find this lovely New Orleans restaurant in our neighborhood! The food is authentic and wonderful; we ordered the shrimp etouffee and fried shrimp po boy and both were really delcious. The banana bread pudding is to die for. The owner and staff are very nice and attentive and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you are going to dinner at a friend's home. Five stars.
Jambalaya, Grits, Pork po boy and cornbread today. Amaze. Great service and the best food. Anthony and Krewe (?) are fantastic!
Always a treat to have dinner at Krewe! Mouth watering whether you dine in or take it to go. I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't love - everything is flavorful and comforting. One of my favorite spots to dine!
The food was excellent! Only problem is that my stomach is only SO big so I could eat everything from the menu. Definitely will need to go back and eat my way through the menu…
It's a very cozy place to dine and rest at the same time. Cornbreads are perfect.
Huge fan of New Orleans fare, and get down there as much as possible. Krewe does not disappoint. I had a chance to sample several of the dishes and it's the closet I've come to authentic creole anywhere in the area. Highly recommend.
Roast beef po-boy was delicious. Great light music and friendly, personal service.
