Saturday at 5pm. I had crablegs with their special sauce and it was almighty good! Shrimp were plump and delicious. Would definitely recommend. And the food came out in a timely manner.
1st time eating here and the food was bad. Burnt shrimp platter, burnt crab cake and old banana pudding. Found a lot of old bananas turning black in the pudding. They replaced it with another and 2nd one was old pudding too. Server tried to tell me that it’s normal and it’s not….banana pudding is not supposed to look like that and the food too. I think the oil is old and hasn’t been changed, why the food was so burnt. Not worth the money or the time.
Omg ! This has been the best seafood I have had in jersey city! I’m the shrimp police, and the shrimp was perfectly cleaned and ready to eat! The fried calamari was sooooo delicious! Our server was excellent and attentive as well! This place just has amazing customer service to compliment the food as well !!Thank you for this, I have zero complaints. Happy camper :)
Love this place! The service here is always super nice and fast! The food is ALWAYS great and you get a lot of the price! I bring all my out of state friends here!
Specified on the online order "no spices" in the special request section after choosing the "plain" option on the snow crabs and yet they put spices, crabs were also not fresh, no sides of butter or lemon. The lobster Mac and cheese was pretty good as well as the Calamari. The beclaws sauce was also good.I Went to pick up the order and asked for extra napkins and the lady up front told me there was silverware in the bag only to get back to my place to find no napkins or silverware.
Great spot for a group of people. It was byob and I think it came out to $50-$60 a person. Their spicy sauce is really good. Everything was great and the service was on point. Can’t wait to go back again.
Different type of dining experience. Food was delicious and plentiful. Much more than I could ever eat in one sitting. Personnel were attentive and courteous. Pleasurable experience.
Typical cheap metal chair gentrification spot in the heart of a city. The menu is great and the idea is great, however, the qulity of the food is absolutely garbage. You can tell it's been frozen for a long time before it's shipped to its location. It has no seafood taste whatsoever and relies ona decent sauce to make you think you like the assortment of crab they have. Would say it's worth trying once, but when you do you won't want to come back.
Just what the doctor ordered. When we entered we just couldn't decide what we wanted. Ended up ordering thee oysters on half shell, the catfish basket with fries and the seafood combo Everything was awesome. The wait staff was awesome. Came over constantly to make sure we were satisfied. Definitely a go to.
Shrimp not fresh. I ordered medium spicy, but the shrimp still taste horrible! They are not fresh at all. the shrimp meat is soft and smelly. I read the reviews about the crabs not being fresh so I chose shrimp. But this is the worst Cajun food ever. The boil is more pricey but definitely worth the money. This place has tasty Cajun sauces but I won’t buy anything again. Unfresh seafood can make people seriously ill!!! I wish I can give zero star. I didn’t finish it, I had to throw the rest out into trash. Horrible place:(
