Stopped by for a few slices. The pizza was a bit on the expensive side at 4.5/slice but I suppose that’s expected these days. The slice had good texture but was overly salty. Every bite made my brain hesitant to take another bite. Weird pizza eating experience. Service was reasonable for a pizzeria.

Chicken Alfredo was pretty good here. The service too is good. Would come back here to try their pizza

This review is not for the quality of food but for the service extended by the establishment. They have partnered with a company called "too good to go", where the objective is to rescue food from getting wasted. The concept is to allow customers buy food at the restaurant at a discount, when the store is about to be closed. I got a bag of food from this app for Helen's pizza and the terms were to pick my pizza slices between 10:45 and 11:15. When I got there at 10:50 the manager was extremely rude and asked me to actually wait for the store to close and they would give me whatever is left overs. I told him that does he actually want me to wait for 25 mins for the store to close and he said yes. It was very humiliating and I walked out but as an establishment if you partner with another company, you need to honor the agreements and treat other paying customers equally. Needless to say I complained with the company that set up the partnership but this place is never going to earn my business again. At minimum you expect respect and courtesy which is lacking here.

We’ve been ordering from Helen’s for Years and their food is delicious!!! The fried calamari is fresh, the pizza is amazing, the grilled chicken anything is outstanding! My four year old WILL NOT EAT ANY OTHER MARGARITA PIZZA PERIOD! He waits for their delivery person patiently and when he hears that they are downstairs he runs, grabs his pizza, thanks them and tells them to have a good night! It’s almost a weekly order for us! Delicious!!!!

We got confirmation on our order at 1028 on slice. We went to the location and found out that they will not provide a personal cheese pie, and chicken finger & fry. They offered free slices, but the slices looked liked they were made first thing in morning. Really immature service. The cleaning boy even laughed at us when we stated we could go somewhere else for better service. This place is an embrasment for 3rd party services. Unfortunately, I can't rate on the food, but due to the services, I'll give this establishment a .1 out of 5,I'm more then happy to hear a response.Thank you,Chad

My mother used to eat at Helen's as a teenager. During my visit to NJ she suggested to me to get Helen's Pizza. I have to say, It is truly the best pizza I have had in my 40years. Same family is still running the place and the recipes are the same. The Pizza pie, pasta dishes, desserts and service is beyond delicious!!

If i could give this place a 0 star i would . The pizza is amazing , but the employees are disrespectful as hell . My friends and i decided to stop by to have some pizza and catch up . Everything was going great until we noticed one of the employees staring at us .. we didn’t think anything of it until 5 minutes pass by and we still notice him staring . It made us very uncomfortable so my friend decided to ask him what his problem was in spanish being that he didn’t speak english and he apologized for his behavior and promised not to continue looking . Two minutes later we still see him staring at us so i personally went up to him and asked him what the issue was . A woman came up to us an accused us of harassing the gentlemen and we kept trying to explain to the woman what actually had happened and she chose to ignore her . Then she proceeded to talk to my friend in spanish which ended up escalating . When we walked outside there was a gentlemen who told us that he would stomp on us . Once again , the food is great , however the customer service is horrible . The gentlemen who took our order was great and i wish i could’ve caught his name , but everyone else were very rude . We had a terrible experience at Helen’s Pizza and don’t plan on returning , the worker had us feeling very uncomfortable .

PROS=+ Good tasting New York Style Pizza [standard pizza].+ Service was fast and friendly. Nearly instant answering of phone.+ Delivery time was as promised.+ Sauce is tasty.CONS=+ Margarita Pizza is a standard pie with a few ounces or fresh mozzarella and sauce on top for $28. See picture.+ Way Over 'Current' Market Price for anything outside of a stand pie.+ Processed cheese is saltier than average.+ Salads are of average quality for a above average market price. This place doesn't understand what a Margarita Pizza is. I'm not saying other's didn't find tasty, but this is not what was expected. They should rename the pizza something else. 90% processed cheese and 10% fresh mozz is not what this pizza should have and definitely not for $10 over the standard pie price.EXCELLENT for a quick slice and a soda or a plain pie. Stay away from the Neapolitan style Pizza and Salads.

I've eaten here once many years ago and didnt care for the pizza, tried it again yesterday just to be sure, and its exactly the same. Too much cheese that the crust cant hold up, turns into a wet dorito, and the cheese is very low quality. Also they way over cooked my slice so the bottom was burnt. For $3.76 for 1 slice of pepperoni, they could at least use some decent cheese.
