I came to check an see if my review was still here an it isn’t. I came this bar last year an the security kicked my girl out for using a bathroom. He didn’t look like security because he was drunk an had a hoodie on. He tried to yell at her but when i got in his face he stopped an started to apologize an bring us back in. We declined since he made my gf cry. The other security with the messed up leg tried to fight me as well.
Nice place to stop by: their tacos are really good as a snack along with some beers or a pitcher of mimosas.Seats are rather small though. A bit of a squeeze but very friendly staff.
Hadn't been since back it became a literal corner bar. Was good to watch the game, listened to a couple of talented karaoke singers and the staff was friendly, even if they all are golden state fans ?
Surprisingly, the tacos at this place for vegetarians were amazing. Have a great happy hour and it's very affordable and you can easily sit there and people watch for hours with a drink in your hand.
I have been to Grove corner before in summer during the day and my experience was much better, especially with service. Last time wasn't very exciting. The margarita wasn't good, had to return it. They made it again but it was still not what margarita should taste like. Apps were ok. We moved to another place. Our server was either busy or having a bad night. He didn't seem very happy while serving people.
From a good bar with many space , its turns this year to tiny hallway. Half of the space under construction. Great location but not really place to seat long time . Not comfortable ppl passed by push you all other time. But its Has awesome happy hour deals till 9pm.
Fairly no frills bar with a solid happy hour. They had dividers between the tables, felt very comfortable inside despite being somewhat close to other tables
If I could post a negative review I would give it -5. Came here from Canada and basically :Food - terribleDrinks - terribleService - terribleOverall - I would’ve had a better experience at a bar from the gutters of hell.Ps: don’t you dare ask to be seated somewhere warm in the Winter.
The servers look like deer in head lights when asked simple questions. We ordered mimosas and they never came out. When we asked the server about them after a half hour, he responded with "oh, you want them?" and then brought them over. Pretty sure we wouldn't have ordered them if we didn't want them. The area around the table was cold, so we asked him if there was an issue and he just stared without responding lol. The food was also horrifying, like absolutely no flavor or seasoning...expectations were low, but c'mon!
Nice happy hour. Friendly staff and regular customers. Kids friendly. Haven't tried the food yet.
