Every golden krust That ive been to in the state of NEW JERSEY has been Horrible! The food is rushed. Ox tails are so tough youll break your teeth. My curry chicken was RAW blood running all through the bone. You wouldn’t even think this is a black establishment. I highly do not recommend this place or their attitudes. Youre better off at McDonald’s across the street. Never again
Yea ya are bogus as hell to charge 21 dollars for 5 small a** pieces of oxtails! When I called to complain about the fact that I just pay so much money for such a little bit of food the girl said oh yeah we only give five pieces. they gave me practically a pound of white rice. So why not disclose that you literally get five pieces of freaking ox tails for $21?????? I would never step foot in this establishment again and anyone that I know I would never recommend them there.
The workers are way to slow. No way it takes 10 min to get a patty out of a case right behind them. I'm not saying they should be running but they should not be crawling either.
Stop into the restaurant with intention to purchase a cup of soup, one unhappy customer was in the store arguing with a server. I asked the cashier 3 times " what type of soup do you have today" and the cashier blatantly ignored my question and placed her full attention towards the unhappy a customer and the server arguing. I guess customer service goes through th door if there is a argument un the store.
I was craaaaaving oxtail and jerk chicken and was slightly disappointed. The gravy from the oxtail was so yummy and so tasty & it was fabulous with the white rice, but the 4/5 oxtail pieces I received was all fat & no meat!! So I paid $22 (through grubhub) for fat was really disappointing. The jerk chicken came plain & meat was dry especially with no jerk sauce at all which was also a disappointment.
This location has HORRIBLE customer service, and EXTREMELY SLOW service. If you are ordering through Uber Eats, it’s best you just come to the restaurant to buy it, and then I will end up waiting 20 minutes longer for a service that is supposed to make it faster.
Chicken wasn’t clean, had hair on it . The Mac and cheese had one layer of cheese on the top . Taste like wet noodles.
This Golden Krust, I will say sell the best food ever, I usually purchase in Queens and they can't compare to this branch. The food was amazing, they have sprat too❤, only problem was the cheese patty, there wasn't any cheese, I spoke to them and thats how the company they bought it from sells it, u don't taste no cheese but great place.
Their soup is amazing. I usually get the chicken soup. I ordered it for the first time around thanksgiving week (November 2021) who ever was making the soup did an amazing job. Also, whoever prepped the soup yesterday did a great job! Downfall, I can taste if it’s a different cook.Also downfall is the pattys are always burnt. I’m Caribbean and have eaten from golden krust for years especially in New York. But this location always burns the edges of the pattys which makes it hard to enjoy it.
Customer service is horrible. Went here once and ordered stew fish and chicken soup. she gave me chicken. When I realized and asked for refund she tells me I didn’t ask for fish she didn’t charge me for fish. She then sucks her teeth and walks off to get someone else to help me. The chicken was flavorless and dried out and the soup was bland first and last time here.
