Such a gem! The food was fabulous and Matt, the bartender was the best! Was in J.C for 4 nights. Went to Emma's every evening! The brisket, catfish are to die for, as well as the brisket quesadilla! Dessert also, try the pecan pie! Will definitely go back!

Stopped in earlier to get a burger as we had just moved here. Even though I only got takeout, the burger I had easily made it to the top 5 burgers ive ever had of all time. It was cooked to perfection at medium, and you can clearly taste that they have their own house blend. Not the mention the toppings were very fresh, and a big up to using pickled red onions. This place is the gold standard when it comes to "Progressive American food". Cant wait to come back to try everything.
Bar is nice, and staff are super friendly. Bartender made me awesome Moscow Mules! Catfish and Macaroni & Cheese was delicious. Reasonably priced. Mostly local clientele, but anyone should feel comfortable here, if you're hungry or just want to kill some time.
Really great service, fresh food, and the sun shines beautifully through the big windows. Will stop by again ?
Went here for Restaurants Week: we had fried chicken (with the most heavenly biscuit) and blackened catfish. For dessert we had chocolate chip bread pudding. All very tasty. Since then we have been back twice! We love the atmosphere, the music is great and the staff is always so friendly. Drinks are also dangerously tasty ?This place is a new favorite and we look forward to coming back soon ❤️
Great food! If you want something that is good but not break the bank, this is your spot! Come here and have a nice meal.
I came because I've been interested in trying this place out for soooo long. I just didn't have the time. The food is really worth the price and the drinks are as good as it could be. But honestly since this was my first time, they really start conversating with the local customers, and the "known" customers and kind of leave u in the dark. It's a little sad cuz I like to interact with my waitress. All in all the foods ok and drinks are ok but I wont come back be cause of the customer service. Sorry Emma's i had high hopes...
My husband and I stopped in for lunch around noon on a Tuesday and we were pleasantly surprised to see Emma’s full of lunch go-ers enjoying meals with friends/family/colleagues.Lately when we dine out it feels like the staff are distracted, on their phones, etc but this was the best experience we’ve had in a while. The service was excellent - Erin, Tricia and Ryan made an awesome team and I felt like they were super attentive to the dining room to often check if anyone needed anything.The food was great - my husband had the toasted pecan old fashioned to drink and we we had the nachos, chicken sandwich, biscuit and key lime pie. The kitchen missed putting ranch on the sandwich but Erin and Tricia quickly brought out an extra side for us.All in all, we’re thrilled to have a quality restaurant in JSQ and look forward to trying more of the menu.
My daughter and I love this place. Delicious food, friendly staff with a cozy atmosphere. What more does one need? Oh yes… great drink selection plus Ryan is amazing!
