The food was exceptional. From the appetizer all the way to the dessert.
The ambience was amazing. The noise levels were low as we were seated downstairs and in the back. The steak and seafood were amazing as were the drinks.
It was so nice, thanks to vaccines and boosters, to return for a GREAT dinner, drinks and dessert prepared and delivered by amazing kitchen, bar and wait staffs. The wonderful appetizers (the seafood platter and the roasted beet salad), the mains (petit filet mignon, the burger, the lamb chops and the NY Sirloin au Poivre) were prepared perfectly to order and the desserts ended the meal very nicely. The only drawback had nothing to do with the restaurant. Evidently, with all the new building in Jersey City, the city decided to drastically reduced the ability to park long enough to enjoy a meal. There used to be neighborhood parking everywhere. Now, not so much-although if you are in NTC, the OATH train drops you off a few minute walk from the restaurant! You need to enjoy wonderful food and drink at Edwardâsâbut donât go on the day I want to go!
Food is outstanding. Loved the New England Clam Chowder, porterhouse for two and creme brulee. Ambiance is a little too dim for me, otherwise good.
Ordered the chicken which was the wrong choice at a steakhouse but wasnât edible.
