We are visiting and my local friends strongly recommend this place and we tried it. It's awesome! Great food and service. A short walk after the dinner along side Hudson river is pleasant as well.
This is my all time ever favorite sushi place, it is honestly very expensive in my opinion but so so worth it. We’re leaving NJ at the end of this week and this is the food I will miss the most.We ordered multiple times since finding out about the place. The food in the photos was one order for dinner for two people and totaled $122.63. We ordered again and had one of those boxes + one of just the 16 pc hand rolls and it totaled $99.62, and the last time we ordered this past Saturday our total was $101.96 for three of their 16pc hand rolls boxes. It is to be noted each order included delivery fees as we live in Union City.Every time, despite the delivery timeframe, the food arrives here in the best condition and each time the fish is fresh and the food is incredibly flavorful.I’ll probably be talking about this place ‘til I’m old and grey, if you’re thinking of trying their food just go for it as you won’t regret it a single bit!
Everything contributed to an outstanding meal: the ambiance of the room, the service and of course the food. The hand rolls were delicious - the Spicy Salmon hand roll was our favorite. The Korean Fried Chicken was very good. The Miso Black Cod was memorable. Try to leave room for a slice of Fruit Cake for dessert.
Loved this place! For hot dishes we ordered the uni pasta (YUM! so many pieces of uni) and spicy smoked pork belly. That pork belly dish...was amazing. SO flavorful and made my belly so happy.We also did the hand roll course - each hand roll was a pretty significant size which was great. Honestly everything we ate was delicious, some standouts included the miso black cod, spicy yellowtail and spicy tuna (I think).Our friends got the domokase and while I didn't try anything, there was so much food and everything looked awesome (especially that miso black cod - drool).For dessert the black sesame panna cotta and lemon sorbet both hit the spot, especially the sorbet.
We LOVE the sushi here!! We prefer Omakase at the bar as the chef prepares each piece. We always have an amazing time. The chefs here are truly amazing. The staff is very friendly in the whole dining experience.
Sushi is fresh and staff are attentive. Make sure you make a reservation to avoid long wait time. I visited the Jersey City and NYC locations and both are excellent.
Cleanses of the kitchen is concerning. My friend and I went there four times. Once got diarrhea, once found a piece of plastic. 50% chance you are fine.Other than that, food is delicious. I usually go there for a casual dinner so I tried a couple of hot dishes. My favorite is the crab meat hand roll and garlic fried rice. Their udon is soft and flavorful, but the soup is a bit salty.I had sushi once but I was not impressed by the quality given the price. Recommend going there for the hand rolls and hot dishes.
Small menu, but everything on it is delicious. Fresh ingredients & creative. Service is always on point, quick service (small menu helps). Very nice outdoor seating and intimate indoor seating. Recommend making reservations early. If you do takeout, best when you pick it up at the recommended time.Our go-tos:Hand rolls (salmon and avocado, unagi - we always need to get 2 of the unagi!). Great place to visit. High-quality food with a reasonable price. Love the premium sushi selection and the uni hand roll. The sauce of the black cod is other-worldly ? Excellent service as well.
