Great place. New address is 137 St Peter's Street, Jersey City, very close to Zeppelin Beer Hall.

I thought moving out of NYC means end of good halal, but this place is actually pretty good!

Method of purchase: DELIVERY on ubereatsGood food, very generous portions for the price. Overall impressed give it 7.5/10

This is the first time I have eaten at a food truck in the area - and the bar is now set really high.I had the lamb over rice. It is rare to say that I felt like I got more than I expected, but for $9...I could not finish it all. The lamb was cooked perfectly, same with the rice and came together with the sauce.Seemed clean, the cook was friendly. I was there late on a Friday and did not have to wait.Great location, easy to get to from the many hotels or Grove St Path Station.I would definitely go back again to try something different. Finally, one of the previous reviews mentioned the prices. Unlike many trucks I have seen, the prices were all prominent and no mistaking what each item costs.

Delicious food - especially the lamb and chicken over rice - and great portion size for the price. Would highly recommend!

A cut (or a couple of cuts) above the usual halal trucks. Was particularly impressed by the tender, juicy chicken pieces here. Lots of filling as well in my chicken gyro as well (pita could barely hold it). All for a pretty low price, a solid stop for Mediterranean cravings.

They overcharged me for a combo over rice (no complementary drink). It was raining when I visited and so I didn’t have a chance to review the prices listed on their truck. And after making my food, they told me to pay 20$ cash for two combo rice platters. I thought the pricing was off but didn’t say anything coz I just thought that was their price until… I met my local friend who told me I should’ve only paid 8$ (showed me a pic) and also have gotten a complementary drink. It’s not about the 4$ difference but the fact that they over charged me without even thinking twice is why I’m writing this review. Food was okay (nothing special and like any other food truck)Edit: I just wanted to clarify that I did not order/get any drink. So the 10$ charge is still just as wrong. Can’t comment about their culture as I’ve been here only once and this whole experience left a sour taste

I was waiting to place my order and saw the guy handling food and money while wearing the same glove (One side only). He did change it when he had cause to restart the generator. I noticed that there were more people at this particular truck, but I did not purchase due to the food handling.

Ibby’s grill is a lot better in my opinion, even though Ibby’s doesn’t have as many stars. This place isn’t 4.8-5 stars lol, no way. It’s not bad, but it ain’t great

Best food truck in JC, clean and generous staff .
