I’ve tried a lot of Indian places over the years and this place was a total let down. My friend and I sat down and were immediately given sealed water bottles as our water, kind of weird but okay. The table was rickety, the place was drafty so much that the wait staff were wearing their winter jackets but hopefully the food would make up for it, right? Wrong! We ordered gobi Manchurian, goat biryani and chicken mugali with some naan. My friend was happy with the mugali, but I tried it and it was VERY BLAND. the gobi manchurian was entirely dry and crunchy, to a point where I left half because I couldn’t stab it with my fork. The goat biryani seemed okay, but also was a let down as all the goat pieces were a bit shriveled up, dry, tough, and clearly not fresh. This is experience was completely overpriced. Will not unfortunately return!

Underrated Indian Restaurant. They have many different items to try, specially Chilli Chicken, Chicken Sukkha ans Spinach Curry is really amazing. Plus there is always buy one get one Biriyani offers. However few items like tandoori chicken could have been made much better.

Food was excellent- tasted home made.and authentic.Customer Service can be improved. After making a huge order and purchase, all I requested the lady was few napkins and utensils. She felt it was beneath her to serve her Customers.

Have ordered mushroom biryani we need to chew for a while to eat it..didn’t know when it was cooked but for sure not today. The thing I hate most is they were closed yesterday,so not sure if it’s from last week or last month ..don’t order here and get sick your self.

Stay away from this place. When they first opened they were great. But now, they too, are like most Indian restaurants in Jersey City. It’s been 2.5 hours since we placed our order and they have no excuse. They’ve lied to us twice when we called. Do not order from them unless you are willing to wait hours for your food. Terrible customer service.

Chef of India Restaurant,Authentic Indian food, Great friendly Service.

Really bad experience, we ordered masala idli and classic spring dosa. Masala idli was decent but dosa was really bad and potato filling was cold. We complained but the server said the veggies inside the dosa are served at room temperature so the filling is not hot. But the potato was cold and server said that’s how it’s suppose to be. We asked her to cancel the order but they charged us for dosa we didn’t even eat.

Horrible service. Nasty People! Rude! Never go here. Cooking chefs don’t tie hair and it falls in your food. Scammers! They don’t even deserve one star. Reception Area rude people. How are they even hired?! Dining is nasty, used same table cloths! Never recommend!

Bland plus a hair In my biryani. Watery raita. Haven’t had more tasteless biryani ever. On top of it found hair in my mouth. Felt puckish after that

Disappointing this time. My butter chicken was mostly sauce and little chicken, and my mughlai chicken sauce appeared to be curdled. Unappetizing. Waste of money. I used to love this restaurant, but no more.
