Central Bistro is great for any meal throughout the day. Stepping off of the streets and into the bistro really feels like a change in setting. You almost forget that you're in the busy streets of Jersey City, a small little getaway with some good food with a wide range to select from.
Came here for the very first time and the place did not disappoint. The vide of the location is great, you can chose to sit inside or outside. Which is great on a nice day. The food was ready when I showed up since I did take out and the lemonade or good too. I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was AMAZING!!
I wandered in here on a random night not expecting much and we ordered shrimp and steak tacos. I am by no means a taco connoisseur, but they were among the best ive ever had. Perfect amount of meat and the fresh guacamole in it was a perfect touch. Will definitely be back.
The food and ambiance makes this one of the top restaurants in Jersey City and a most visit for all. Is definitely a hidden gem!
Great place. Friendly staff, huge menu and long practical hours. Food is a fun blend of gourmet and comfort and v tasty. Cloth napkins too, which I like!
I must say that I'm a huge fan of central bistro there is no better restaurant for me period. I been with them from the beginning of their grand opening and still coming back. The staff is phenomenal the service they provide are beyond expectations. The atmosphere is so relaxing and it's a byob place is so chilled. I completely obessed with their mussels in white wine sauce also the red sauce OMG!!! ITS DELICIOUS!!! Every time I order them central bistro is precise and consistence with the flavoring no matter what time, what day, the food is always fresh and full of flavors I'm a customer till the end you guys are amazing...thank you? my husband is also a huge fan. Lol.
Excellent in every way from start to finish. Great, friendly service. Varied menu. Nice list of specials. Tasty appetizers. Delicious desserts. We really enjoyed ourselves and absolutely plan to return - often.
Really nice place, ambiance and music on point, great stuff and everything clean, the food was delicious.
The food was amazing and our server John was very attentive and super sweet. We enjoyed the mussels, a grain bowl with grilled chicken and huevos vaquero. Everything was delicious. We will be back to explore more options. Btw the space is really nice too.
I must say there are some delicious places to eat in jersey city. But to me central bistro is definitely on top. The chicken cheesesteak is very tasty. The fries it comes with are even better(I like a good fry) you definitely would not be disappointed with this place!
