Ordered a pizza for delivery and this is how it was delivered. Definitely not what you expect when you tip and pay extra for delivery. There was paper stuck to the pizza, toppings on the cardboard and was an utter mess. Very disappointed by the service.
I first tried this pizza a year ago and I was impressed by the taste and the fast delivery of hot crispy, cheesey pizza. We order regularly and I support the business. Today, I ordered a pie at 11:00am. When I received in 40 minutes it was soggy and rubbery. I caled and expressed my concern and told them I would be willing to wait an hour for a fresh pie. When the second pie was delivered, now by the owner, it was mediocre at best and he stated, he will never deliver here again because its too far. Bad business, bad attitude, and disgusting pizza all of a sudden. I gave you an opportunity to fix it and you blew it!

Gave 20-30 minute estimate. Food wasn't ready until two hours later. Pizza was good, but not worth the wait.
Really disappointed with my most recent order. It’s clear the menu and ingredients have changed. We used to order the veggie pizza whenever we ordered from them but this new version is completely different and not nearly as good. The artichoke pieces (which were not on the previous version) they use are tough and the amount of olives they put on it overpowers the whole flavor of the pizza. You couldn’t even tell they put pesto on this pizza that’s how strong the olive taste was. The crust is extremely thin and just doesn’t taste as great as the dough they used to use. We liked to order the cheese fries as this was the only place that had a good cheese to fry ratio. This time it was like the took the container of fries and put a thin layer of cheese over the whole mound. Overall really disappointed and not sure I’d order from there again if this is the food they’re selling.
My new favorite spot for pizza and wings in JC. Amazing service and delicious food. When I placed the order, I was told my food would be there in 30 minutes and the driver was right on time. They even threw in a free pizza. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I ordered from here EVERY Sunday for 4 years. About 3 weeks ago they CHANGED their recipe. NOW their pizza is grossly thin, like paper and the whole gist of why Carmines was great (good bread, regular slices) is gone. The Pizza tastes cheap and now that the crust is THIN, the cheese over comes it and you end up with a gross mess. Not happy with these guys, I'd look elsewhere for good Pizza.
The pizza recipe has changed and is no longer worth the price. Have been ordering routinely for a year or two. It's a sad day when a local jersey pizza joint puts out a pie worse than a national chain.
We like this place a lot but won’t be ordering from here anymore. We usually use Uber eats but this time decided to call directly since I am assuming it’s better for the business. The delivery guy (who said he’s the owner) called and refused to bring the pizza up to our floor even though we’re tipping him. His excuse was the covid variant, then when we go downstairs to pick it up he’s not wearing a mask….makes a lot of sense. When we asked about this logic he was rude and gave attitude and told us not to order from them anymore lol. Seems like he just didn’t want to come up and didn’t care about a tip. Very rude and disappointing to know that this place doesn’t care about their customers! Will be ordering Uber eats from now at least their service is good.
