Such a lovely experience thus far. Staff has been so genial and gone over the top to help us and greet us when coming in and out. They went out of their way to help me print items. Always so kind. Beautiful and clean rooms. Great lobby music. Wish we could find an apartment with such beautiful finishes like these hotel rooms. Nespresso machines are a nice addition. Room was completely clean and we love the ice and filtered water right down the hall. Highly recommend for any stay outside of NYC.
If you are in Jersey City for any reason business or leisure you need to stay at this Canopy by Hilton hotel. I have never stayed at a Hilton Canopy collection Hotel before last night.  I think this has become my favorite Hilton brand! Everything about this hotel is top quality and thoughtfully done in many ways. As an example, they provide a steamer in the room versus an iron which is fantastic. If you really do need an iron they’ll bring you one but the steamer for me added a lot of value. High-quality bedding, total automation of the room built right into the Hilton app. The office chair was made from a memory foam tape material that was so comfortable I could’ve worked for 12 hours in that chair. Ring for a shower, great bathroom amenities. The Diamond $15 food allowance did not pay for a single thing on the menu other than toast and coffee but they do also allow you to order a breakfast bag to your room (night before) that has yogurt, juicec Kind Bar and fruit. Overall if this hotel was ever available I would pick this over a full service Hilton hotel. If you have ever stayed at an AC by Marriott, the vibe is very close. I also want to add that the staff in this hotel how this young, happy, and very service focused.
My bf and I have now stayed here 3 times (maybe it's 4!). This is our favorite hotel to stay at when I come into JC. The staff has recognized us by this point. It's very conveniently located right by the PATH train and takes 10 min (if that) to get into the city. The rooms are modern and I now want to redo my shower to mimic this one. Beds are very comfortable and you can't hear anyone else in their room. Breakfast is really good and so is the dinner. You're also close to the restaurants on Newark Ave if you're tired from trekking through the city. Can't wait for our next visit in the future!
Rooms were not cleaned prior to arrival. Crumbs and dirty towels were found in the room. Did not clean the room after asking for it either. The clerk sounded shocked when we wanted it cleaned and said he would replenish towels/amenities like soap and that was all during our stay.The room has nice amenities and fancy furniture but it misses on the very basics. We wouldn’t stay here again.
Was a great experience, clean room, soft bed, nice shower, they use technology to get into the elevator, room and even the front door!.Restaurant was great, some delays because they look understaffed but the people working there are so amazing! They’ll do everything to keep you happy!!!Good option.
Having been to many Hilton properties in my life, I am very pleased to have visit the Canopy in Jersey City, NJ. This hotel stay was the best I have ever experienced. One thing to note: we used Uber during our stay which I think made a world of difference. If I had to deal with a rental car, it would have been less convenient due to parking and the hotel's busy location. I cannot wait to revisit.
Had to get a hotel last minute due to an emergency and this was a great choice. Only sad my stay wasn't longer. Really wonderful staff from the front desk to the restaurant. Everything was CLEAN and the design was very thoughtful for the guest use. Great shower, comfy bed and pillows and quiet rooms. Had a delish bowl of veggie soup from the restaurant. Very safe as you need a key to get to your floor. Pet friendly!
I’m a loyal Hilton Honors member. This was probably my best stay yet. Omar, Gee, and Steven provided exceptional customer service. The only person who acted like I didn’t exist was Octavia; never greeted me when I returned to the hotel; she was very stand-off-ish and stared me up and down looking at me like I didn’t belong there (although I’m a Diamond member ???♀️) and didn’t even take the time to respond to my message in the app. Other than that, the housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back.
A luxurious place to stay. The Canopyby the Hilton is a very friendly cozy environment. The rooms are immaculate and the bar is a plus with fair prices. This was my husband and I first time there and we had a fabulous time. I will be going back. The only downfall is that there is no parking for the hotel guests. You have to pay a garage fee an average of $30- $40 per day to park.
I had a lovely few couple of days here.The area: great and safe, lots of food places and small shops. There is a big wahlgreens open 24/7 just 3 minute walk away. The train (path) Station is literally 1 minute walk away and within 15 minutes you will reach the world trade center.The hotel: the rooms are very clean and modern/up to date, the bathroom is lovely. Daily cleaning service as well as a robe, slippers, towels, and shampoo provided.The lobby and restaurant area is lovely, I could easily spend a couple hours there just enjoying the vibe.The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Truly great service.The only reason why I am giving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the breakfast was disappointing. Paid $20 per person and they did not provide any bacon or scrambled eggs, apparently that is only included on weekends so we basically had to pay more to get a side of that. Apart from this everything was lovely.I can definitely recommend this hotel, we will book a stay here for our next new york visit.
