This café is adorable and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The flavor of their food is very good. But the pastry dough is consistently uncooked at the bottom. It has happened to me on more than four occasions so I thought it was worth noting in the review.
A wonderful spot, don't skip! Their coffee/drinks are good and their baked items and treats are excellent. From savoy quiches to sweet baked goods, everything is delicious. The madeleine cookies, french beignet donuts and french macarons are so tasty and make for a sweet treat or a cute gift for friends or family. Love this shop!
Asparagus & parmesan quiche was delicious! The atmosphere is super cozy and it smells so delicious when you walk into the cafe.
Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Ordered all kinds of dessert for a surprise birthday party. Everything was beautiful and delicious! The beignets were a huge hit. Crème brûlée was outstanding and the cakes were perfect! Evan was so communicative and helpful. He arranged for a seamless delivery to Hoboken and even followed up with us after. This will be our go to for special events for sure.
Had their iced matcha , pretty ok, loved their spinach and goat cheese quiche, Cute place to stay and chill or work. It’s a bit chilly tho, maybe I’ll come chill I’m the summer lol
Very nice and cozy coffee shop in downtown Jersey City. We ordered cappuccinos and croissants, both of which were good. The cappuccinos were a little too strong and hot compared to what we typically get at other places, which was good for us. Pan du Chocolate almond was not as fluffy as I like but the butter croissant was good. Parking is hard to find in the area so we had to takeout although we did want to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee there because it felt like the perfect cozy Coffee place.
It is such a comfy place. Very french atmosphere. Peca pie was not really good, but all the rest of the menu is. Friendly staff. So clean, beautiful decoration and average price. Wifi works fine, it is never too packed and it is a good option to work on your laptop enjoying your coffee and pastries.
I love this cafe and go here many x a week to get my son a crossiant + get coffee. The food and drinks are delicious but the people who work there are my absolute favorite! They always ask me about my work and son and they seem to really care and make me feel warm and welcomed! The atmosphere here also is cute. It seems the owner is French and has put personality into decorating it. I feel like I’m in Europe when I’m there.
I am new to the area, so happy to have found this place! The. mini donuts are to die for.
Ordered a quiche and the cinnamon pancakes. The quiche was very pleasant, good filling and crust with a very nice side salad. The pancakes unfortunately were just awful, the heavy cinnamon flavor made them inedible, even after drowning them in syrup to mask the flavor, I had to throw them in the trash. The online menu did warn of an unusual cinnamon, but I had no idea how bad it would be.
