Friendliest waiter ever! He was so cheery for breakfast and literally knocked on the window and waved at us with both hands when we were heading out! (If you're reading this, I hope that doesn't embarrass you. Never stop being a ball of sunshine! ♥️) The person I talked to on the phone, I presume was the owner or manager was also very nice! After I inquired to double check they had outdoor seating for breakfast he said could. "We do! See you soon... ?"Lots of patio seating available on a Tuesday mid morning.

I love Cafe Dolma! I come here all the time, have never had a bad experience and it’s honestly one of my favorite regular spots in Jersey City. They have a great menu to pick from for breakfast and lunch or even baked goods for something sweet.Today I tried their chicken pesto sandwich and think I found another one of my favorites from here. Perfect portions and really tasty. ?

The restaurant has it all - opens early, amazing staff and great food! They were so helpful in making sure my toddler was comfortable and I’m extremely grateful for that. The staff was awesome and checked on us regularly. And the food was perfect! Fresh pastries straight from the oven, delicious pancakes and so many good egg dishes. This is definitely our favorite dine-in breakfast/brunch spot in JC!

Breakfast at Dolma was delightful. The outside patio was spacious enough but didn’t feel cramped. My Turkish dish, Cilbur: poached eggs with beautiful spices, yogurt (rich yet felt light almost whipped) and fresh herb sauce was so delicious. The Poached eggs were cooked to perfection! The other highlight was Rodrigo! He was the highlight of our visit, chatting about the menu, having a few laughs about our coffee preferences and checking in on us just enough. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!

I’ve been coming to Cafe Dolma for 7+ years and even since I moved out of state, I make sure to come by whenever I’m in town. The owner is so sweet and always asks about my family. The avocado toast, moussaka, and grilled veggies with labneh are some of my absolute faves. Last time they also had a new homemade hot sauce and I tried their signature latte with date syrup, rose and cardamom, omg!

First, we were accused twice in a row of trying to cut the line for a table while asking at the front counter (without a single breathing soul inside waiting behind us) if we could order coffee to-go. Second, we were rudely told essentially "no, none of your business" twice in a row (Yes, seriously) after asking how long the wait for a table would be. When we expressed disappointment we couldn't get a wait time estimate, we essentially told rudely to leave. We were yelled in a raised voice at and disrespected from essentially the moment we walked in. Ruined my day. We were perfectly respectful and really just wanted to know what our options were for getting a coffee.

Amazing, delicious food! Whenever I come I'm always completely satisfied. The service is extraordinary with a super friendly owner checking in on us personally- quick to come out, too. I come to Dolma's whenever possible. Definitely a favorite!

This is my go to cafe and they honestly have become like family to me. The food is phenomenal and the service makes you feel at home. They have a way of turning any bad day into a great one with their food, coffee, and smiles. This is a gem of a place. Do yourself a favor and stop by, and whatever you do DON'T FORGET TO GET DONUTS, they are the best donuts I've ever had.PS. Rodrigo, Vedje, and Mike are incredible people.

Dolma is now a cafe (no longer dinner resto) that serves delicious gourmet breakfast plates w a Mediterranean flair, and good coffees. Open mornings until 330p

We went for breakfast first time today. A quaint, lovely atmosphere for a delicious breakfast. American and Greek foods, there’s something for everyone. Meals were delicious as were pastries - homemade! Staff was friendly and restaurant clean. Drinks were phenomenal, so tasty. I highly recommend dining at Cafe Dolma!Jersey City,NJ
