Just moved into the neighborhood and have been checking out the local spots in the heights. We went here today for brunch and everything was excellent. We ordered simple things (Avo toast and a goat cheese omelette) but it was obvious everything was made with care by one of the owners who was cooking. The latte and tomato soup were also amazing. Great cutely decorated atmosphere. Can’t wait to return for dinner soon!
Love this place and the couple that runs this shop. The sandwiches are always on point. I know because I eat there often. So thankful that we now have a cute delicious spot for food and coffee. Excellent place to unwind and enjoy.
Had a great time and a great meal at the box Cafe last night. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The background music stayed in the background and the food was excellent. Chef Sean Curly does something to Brussel sprouts to almost outshine the main course! I almost forgot to mention the excellent service from our hostesses Linda and Clara. Altogether a home run.
Food here is excellent. It’s BYOB and Linda the proprietor is very warm and friendly. Funky decor but simple. Really love this spot and the Heights, needs more spots like this.
This is one of the best cafes ive been to! The food is amazing. The chocolate cake with some hot cappuchino just takes me to the moon and back!
Such a great friendly place with delightful decor and healthy eating options. I wish I went here more, to be completely honest! Happy to have someplace nice to take the family on Palisade Avenue. Reasonable prices, too!
Can't say enough good things about this gem of a restaurant. From the decor to the friendly service, everything was perfect. The location is comfortable and cozy. The food was amazing! There wasn't anything that we didn't like. The flavors are perfectly balanced and we enjoyed every single bite. Linda (one of the owners) is wonderful and makes you feel so welcome, like you're dining at a friend's place. And they have live music on Friday nights. My family and I will definitely be coming back!
I’ve eaten here twice. I had the arugula salad both times; once with chicken and once with salmon and it is delicious. Love and appreciate the homemade quality. Fresh ingredients, super tasty dressing and crunchy homemade croutons. So yummy! I chatted with Linda, the owner and she’s a sweetheart! Can’t wait to go back and try something else.
Small French cafe. Owner is nice. Fresh food. Cute atmosphere. Soft French music. Very comfortable and relaxing.
Sincerely the most delicious (Kobrick) coffee I’ve found in Hob/JC area! Super cute decor and i just love the French music! The owner Sean is so nice a his wife is lovely. I wish them a lot of success. I can’t wait to go back for dinner, I heard the food was amazing.
