Fun place, good games, not meant for food (food is okay and limited). Drinks are average, ordered LIIT.
Barcade is easily one of my favorite bars in the Jersey City area. They've got a great selection of Beers on tap, and pretty solid food. Also, the selection of games you can choose from is pretty wide, and is mostly a bit more retro. Definitely a great time, and would recommend it if you're looking for a more chill night out as opposed to going to a club or other bar in the area.
Really fun place to get really good food, drinks and have lots of fun playing video games. I've been more than a few times and whenever we're thinking of a local night out it Barcade always comes up in our discussion. They have really good food, so you can make an entire evening there (great for dates!) or finish your night there playing video games and enjoying good drinks. Staff is very friendly as well!They have a wide variety of video games mostly from the 80's and 90's. About 10 pinball machines and a couple dozen other machines from Pacman to Mortal Kombat, Ninja Turtles, NBA Jam and many others.It's just a really fun place to go and hang out with friends.
It's popular and has your average bar options. In addition, there are old-school arcade games to play while you drink. But let's be realistic it's not a bad place, but it's 2022 and these arcade games could be rigged nowadays to be played for free. While almost every arcade system I attempted stole my coins I could only imagine how much these systems are being maintained. If only you could pay a one-time fee and enjoy your time there playing endlessly......

Barcade has a great environment that people can chill. Food prices is good & they have tables allowing you to eat in peace. They have great games that you can enjoy. The only downfall are some of the games didn't work & since they charge for everything those arcades should be working at 100%
This place is always fun to go get a drink and play some Pac-Man. You just can't really beat the amount of games they have and that they all work. The drinks are surprisingly cheap too, which I'm glad about. They definitely make a lot of money on the arcade slots and tokens, I usually spend about five bucks and get a couple drinks and I feel really good after the night. Definitely the best place in Jersey City to hang out currently.
Really cool place but it seems like it ends up being more about the bar then the games for most people. Great beer selection and good simple short order food.I’d say the games are second because while there are a few classics they are far from having the all time greats.

Food was delicious and fairly priced. The range of games is amazing! Donkey Kong, pacman, racing games, mortal combat e.t.c. Most were only 1 quarter each. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a good way to kill a few hours.
