The food is meh, prices are expensive for the quality of product they serve. I ordered a chicken sandwhich which doesn't even appear to be real chicken, instead it's some questionable sliced thin meat. The staff is equally off, they can really use a refresher on customer service and possibly a raise because they all look miserable and give you attitude when you ask for utensils or condiments. You'll wait atleast 30-45 min for your order so come in comfy and ready to wait.
It's not that hard to make a banana milkshake so why is it every time I order a milkshake from here is watered down with milk & vanilla extract cant taste no banana, it's always warm like room temperature it's unprofessional & disgusting not wasting my money here anymore..
Decent food, the worst service. I’m officially not coming here again what a shame. Ordered delivery while waiting for the path on 34th st. Manhattan to Journal square because I knew from experience I’d get home before my food arrived (I live a few blocks away from the restaurant). I passed by and something told me to just walk in and pick up my order but I saw what matched my delivery driver out front about to grab it. By the time I get home the delivery is canceled for some random issue. (Over an hour after it was placed) I saw this guy there, confirmed he was minutes away and I live 3 blocks away! I just worked a holiday double & wanted a late night meal, not many expectations & regardless they still didn’t meet them. Zero consideration for their customers it’s always something with this place.
Food is good. Wait time is terrible. Shakes are amazing
I come here often and get a steak burrito. I order my burrito the same way ALL the time. I order a steak burrito. I ordered one today and it was still pink on the inside. I go back and let them know that it's raw "crudo" and I'm told as he's smiling in my face I have to order "well done." I've never ordered my burrito and said "well done!" Then I'm told I would have to pay for another one. What happened to customer service? I doubt if I come here again. A raw burrito and told I'm to pay for another one without any type of compassion or sympathy.
30 mins to get our order ready ! And forgot to give us 1 drink … poor customer service .. need more employees that would help ..
Worst place to go to on lunch break, staff is slow, too slow, especially when the place is so empty compared to any other Banana King. Do not prepare orders as taken. Ticket times off, 15 mins for a shake with only 3 ppl in the place You can order online and you food still isn’t ready. Manager lady always seems to be doing inventory on during 11-11:30 when my class take break. Place is a one man show.
Got food there once and a shake the second time. Not sure why came back a second time. Food took forever to make and was not worth it and the shake was bad.
Food ready to eat hav to be handle with gloves. Not nice being on the phone then making a sandwich without passing by the hands whashing zinc.
The store is ran by kids in their 20s. The problem is that while cooking/preparing the food he is also on his phone texting and doing other stuff. Of course, no hygiene. I'll not go back. Missed an opportunity to sell more.
