I love both JC Ani Ramen locations. When I checked out the district kitchen location I thought it wouldn’t be as good as the restaurant on Newark Ave but I was wrong. The broth was hearty and just the right amount of spicy and the meat so tender. The staff at District kitchen is always pleasant.
Well that was disappointing, the quality of my ramen was subpar, the noodles was fine but the broth tasted entirely different than what I always order at the Newark Ave location. Disappointing because the food court is peaceful to eat at and the Newark location is more bar/club oriented but least the food is better there.
Wife was feeling down today from a cold and I stopped by to grab some ramen. Out of the ramen places in the area this one is definitely the best. Just simple and consistent.Pork buns are a great too when we need a little something extra. And our kid is obsessed with the fried chicken sauce.
Food is ok. My 1 star is for adding 3% conv fee to order at checkout…not sure what convenience exactly i am paying for when i go to an order screen and type in my order … hidden pricing avoid!
I love Ani Ramen! I always go to the restaurant and ended up at this one (District Kitchen) a few times - and LOVE it here, too! The people are always so welcoming and helpful (met Tao today, very kind!), and the food tastes the same. It’s a beautiful location as well. The place is clean and the food is always fresh. Best Ramen hands down.
incredibly bad! surprised how bad it is for having such a high overall review on here. won’t order again.miso spicy doesn’t taste like any miso soup. vegetables are plain and has no taste. the noodles is not the normal type in any ramen place more like some kind of instant noodle. and quite expansive!
Perfect taste, fresh ingredients, hot broth and delicious shrimp ramen ?
The ramen had some pretty plain veggies like cabbage and choy sum. Egg is extra. The broth was only okay. With tax and tip it came out to be about $20 per bowl. I just can't say it was really worth it.
Chicken is OK, but the spicy ramen is the worst ramen I’ve ever had in the US.
For a quick takeaway place this is actually quite good raman. A sort of up market pot noodle.
