Food was so greasy and unable to eat. Fish had no seasoning and so small for the prices listed. I would never order from this place again.
I went to Roy's on Springfield Avenue in Irvington. The fried Whiting was refried and 6 shrimps for 18.00 which was rubber. The were playing oldie but goodie music which was so loud that we had to talk loud in order for the lady to hear our order. I will not be going back.
I don't know if this is the norm or what but this isn't what I expected! No flavor at all! When you're a good cook but don't feel like cooking, just order from somewhere else! :(
The catfish is my favorite. It was fresh crispy and hot. They went the extra step of poking holes into the aluminum foil so the steam won't make it soggy. So thank you and i hope they keep doing that. My only issue was the shrimp was fried hard. It came with a bunch of hot sauce and tartar sauce.
I ordered the whiting fish lunch special today.. It was horrible they sold me fish skin..They cut one piece of fish skin in half took my $9 and served it to me. I can’t believe that a “business” would serve something like that!!..This was my first and last time going to that place.. Please don’t go here they take no pride in what they are serving customers!
Always good. Fish, greens and candied yams delicious. I travel from Staten Island to get their fish.

They get 3 stars cuz the fish was fresh and the lady was very nice.I ordered the flounder sandwich and it was straight bland. No flavor no salt no pepper, just fish and you want almost 10 for wat?! I will continue to go to Ambassadors. Maybe you should try their fish Roy. No competition whatsoever!
