Visit the establishment a few times and the food was great. Some of the workers can utilize some customer service skills.
The restaurant is a great place and environment to eat. The place is customer friendly and the staff are nice. I ordered my favorite plantains, fried fish, and macaroni & cheese. The food was lovely and made very good. Food is priced by weight which I like better imo. Place is cleaned down well from the door to the seats. Very organized place of business. I recommend swinging by for some great food.
My breakfast was exactly how I wanted it. The young lady that took my order was very professional and courteous. I was in and out as they said I’d be. Compliments to the Chef and the host, I will be back again. Thanks for a wonderful Breakfast and a good overall experience. Great service.
Food was very good but soda fountain wasn't working they only gave a c&c soda to buffet orders. At $11 a pound for buffet a Pepsi wouldn't kill you.No ice cream, no cake for the bday seniors, even if we paid for it.Love them but those amenities count when you have a party that spends $350+. Servers were great. Felt bad for them.
Purchased 3 slices of red velvet cake. Got home and this was in the bag. Too scared to even try the others. Don’s has been around long enough to know better, been coming here for over 40 years. Although it’s just cake, it’s very disappointing. Will be awhile before I return, if ever! Yes, that is MOLD!
Went in to order take out. Owner was rude didn't take my order properly then was nasty with me cause I asked him to make sure the cooks knew how I wanted my food prepared. Told me to leave if if I didn't like the service . Been told by friends who have dined in there that they left because they saw bed bugs in the chairs and left. This place needs to be shut down. Parking lot has rats running around. Never coming here again.
I’ve been to diners before this by far is the best food ever. Oh my God the collard greens and the okra were almost the hit of the show but down sleep on the meat the ribs the chicken the fish oh my. I feel like I’ve die and went to food heaven.Thanks for the experience
Stopped by for brunch for two. My friend who visited me from Italy and I had Omelette and french toast with eggs and hams. He loved the omelette and so did I except the ham was a bit dry. Friendly service with good coffe.
The hospitality is a lot to be desired. Will never know what the food tastes like because of getto ness of the staff. I will never go back. I have gone there for years. Will never spend my money there again.
If I could have giving it a zero I would 1st the customer service from the host (GETTO)!! On the phone talk loud about outside business! The sign said wait to be seated! She waved her hand and told us to “seat where you want” ? ! The waiter that had our table was nice tho!! Sad part, I was raised eating dons! But they customer service ALWAYS sucked (unless you are elder which I understand) at least treat them with RESPECT ! But won’t be going back!
