Great bar and food is out of the us world.

The Brass Rail was an amazing place to have a Baby Shower. The room upstairs was beautiful and very spacious. The food was delicious and plentiful. Nancy Guarjardo, the catering manager was so awesome to work with. She made planning my event super easy. The wait-staff were so helpful and pleasant to all of the guests. Thank you so much for a beautiful event! Would definitely recommend hosting a private event there!
Excellent service and menu
Despite being short staffed, specifically with waiters / waitresses last night, the Brass Rail delivered. The waitress hustled attending to an outside environment of customers, full house inside, and to us upstairs. The food was worth the wait as always. The grilled chicken sandwich is one of the best I have ever had. Fresh ingredients. Flavorful. Filling. Enough said.
Went for brunch, 2 courses & a drink… what a deal! The service was great. However I was disappointed by the food itself. I ordered a caesar salad, it was tasteless and comparable to a cafeteria caesar salad. My main course was good, but I expected more complexity to the food. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my time, but I wish there was more.

The restaurant always is crowded and has a nice bar vibe downstairs and more modern vibe upstairs. I liked the vibe but upstairs had bad acoustics was hard to hear conversation as it got louder. Appetizer was decent- got the calamari. Sadly I gave this two stars for the entree - the seared scallops were barely seared, they almost tasted microwaved. I was really disappointed for the price , and did not enjoy my meal.
The food was ok but the service was really slow. The server was nice - don't get me wrong - but it was crazy slow and orders totally came in out of order. I think it was also the servers were way overworked.
Really good brunch menu, decent choice and good value. Quite a variance in portion sizes, same dish but one looked like a child portion, but quality was very good.
