Chicken satay skewers and lotus leaf wrapped shrimp rice were out of the world. Vegetarian drunken noodles were perfection. The staff was super amazing and provided ample options for our vegetarian/vegan friends.
Our favorite delivery meal. So absolutely delicious whatever you offer. We have had many multiple orders from them and have never been disappointed. The food is FABULOUS,,
It's great Malaysian (and Chinese) cuisine, all very authentic. I've had better but there aren't many (any?) other Malaysian restaurants in the neighborhood so I'm happy to have this old reliable in downtown Hoboken for when I'm craving Satay Tofu.
We went here for lunch on a weekend and were able to find the table easily, no wait. The food here is very flavourful and we loved everything we ordered. This place has plenty of vegetarian options and they are very flexible to make a particular dish vegetarian if you ask. We especially liked the roti canai, fried noodles and Malaysian coffee. We will be returning for sure
Best Asian food in Hoboken and it’s not close. In the mood for Chinese? This place blows Precious out of the water. The menu is huge and has an array of different Asian styled food from Chinese, Thai, and even some Indian influenced dishes.Satay is way fresher than any of the other local Chinese/ Asian places. Highly recommend.
So I ordered from here through DoorDash and my overall feelings on the food is pretty positive. I ordered the roti canai. The curry was perfectly spiced and seasoned however the roti itself was not great. The size and portion of the roti was quite small compared to other Malaysian restaurants I've been to. It also wasn't that buttery and flaky enough. I also saw some people complaining in the reviews about how there's only one piece of potato or chicken in the curry. This is just ignorant westerners speaking. If you don't know how a roti canai is served it's usually just a small bowl of curry with maybe one chunk of morsel and the roti. It isn't supposed to be a full on meal. Hence why it's an appetizer.I also ordered the curry ribs and I'm so glad I did. I was actually debating between this and the barbecue spare ribs but I decided not to get the barbecue ones because the reviews said it was too sweet. The ribs were tender but not too much and still had a little bit of a bite. However it was tender enough that it was falling off the bone. And my goodness the curry was so delicious. Very savory but a very slight hint of sweetness from the coconut milk. I ordered it with the coconut rice and it was just the most perfect balance of flavors. If you order anything from this restaurant I would probably just focus on the Malaysian dishes. This place seems to do those pretty well.
Loved their General Tso's chicken, beef curry, red curry soup. Wasn't impressed with other chicken dishes, seems like they cook vegetables and chicken separately and mix them for you before serving so they all taste the same.
I let my Singaporean wife order everything we had here, and every single dish was extremely satisfying. I especially loved the Mee Goreng (Indian style.) Decent food portions, decent-looking tab (10% cash discount applied) at the end of the evening.
Recommend the fries flat noodle and coconut pudding! Pho is just so so.
The food here is very authentic hands down one of my favorite spots for some Malaysian/Cantonese items. My favorite dish is the coconut lamb sooo good. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars for sure.
