It was just a few days ago that we discovered this wonderful place. It was our understanding that they had just opened and were new. We had no idea this little gem had been open for 4 years!! So glad that we found it. Our service provided by Emily was excellent!

Sushi was great, we enjoyed it!But weather inside was stuffy(not sure if the AC was functioning well), and worse than that the waitress ignored us many times. There are few staff responsible for many tables more than their capacity. We asked if our napkin could get changed, they forgot or ignored! We waited for our bill more than 15 minutes. Some staff really need some training to learn how not to ignore customers!

Phenomenal food, phenomenal drinks and phenomenal service. I came here tonight with a few friends for an early birthday celebration and was so happy with the delicious food, complex and tasty drinks, and this hype man of a waitress. I didn't catch her name so awkwardly posting this awesome picture of her celebrating my birthday with us, thank you for a great evening! I'll be back soon for sure!!

After a reservation snafu, Karina took care of us to the max! She brought over the most amazing off menu items and helped us pick out great sakes and apps. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much, Karina!

We had an incredible dinner at Saku. Despite having a minor hiccup, our server, Karina, completely turned our night around. She was funny, generous, and kind. The food was fantastic, I especially loved the ‘Crunch Drunk Love’ roll. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and ambiance! We had the Shrimp Fried Rice and Saku Rainbow Roll, both plates were exquisite.

Really nice place, food, drinks and service! Keep up the good work!

Surely one of the best sushi spots in all of Hoboken. Wonderful staff, outstanding sushi, and delicious drinks. We always enjoy coming here for dinner!

Absolutely loved my experience at Big Sam's. For whatever reason, I do feel like the sushi is a little better on the "light side" of the restaurant than on the "dark side". feel like they should work on keeping the sides separate in terms of the vibe, but equal in food quality - super good experience though.

Great sushi and Asian food spot with fun drinks and really nice decor. I’ve been here two times and plan to keep going back! Each time, we got a bunch of appetizers but there’s still so much more I want to try! Very tasty and would recommend.
