Pizza Republic sent me a moldy pizza. It was inedible. I followed up with delivery.com who processed the order. They called the restaurant, and the restaurant denied a refund. Delivery.com suggested I call the restaurant to speak with their manager to reverse their decision. I tried. The first time I called I was told "please hold". They left me on hold for several minutes, then hung up on me. I tried calling back and they never picked up, clearly dodging any calls from my number. So I called from a Google Voice number, they answered right away. When I told them what I was calling about again they hung up on me immediately.Update: After over 90 minutes of arguing with an individual at Pizza Republic via FB Messenger who would not provide his or her name other than "Relevant person", I finally received a refund. But not before Relevant person accused me of "expecting things to happen instantaneously". Excellent pizza! They never disappoint. Keep doing what you're doing. Can never go wrong with meatball and pepperoni toppings.
New management recently? The food has gone downhill over past couple of months and have been throughly disappointed. Tonight’s mishap was getting a grilled chicken sandwich. I’m thinking you should have some grilled chicken breast but the chicken was not sure chopped deli meat with no bacon which is supposed to be on sandwich. Pizza was under cooked too so had to cook more.
Causal stop while in Hoboken, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The people working there are from the Far East, but you would never know from the pizza or the sandwiches; they taste authentic Italian. The only downside of the place is the extreme closeness of the tables, to the point that you can't sit on one side and expect the person on the next table to sit at it... The food, though, makes up for it. The pizza was very good and the slice was large. The combination sandwich was to the point and the chicken parmigiana sandwich was excellent, crunchy, and well balanced in the content.
It is really cozy place with good vibes, ordered barbeque chicken slice which was really tasty. Good amount of barbeque coated chicken pieces on it. The garlic knots were okay.

Guilty pleasure… their Mac and cheese is amazing but can be a bit heavy! We tried the white truffle, black truffle and pesto one… All are amazing! Nice to have a place like this in Hoboken!
I wanted some good pizza while in town and found the Pizza Republic on accident. We got a small pie and some white truffle mac and cheese. Everything was so amazing. Good little spot in Hoboken. Carlos bakery is across the street, so after pizza, go grab some amazing treats!
The Mexican Mac and Cheese from this place is honestly the best!! I have gone back here so many times and definitely think that it deserves a lot more hype. The employees are also really friendly and accommodating. I recommend trying this place :)
