Good service, the gentleman on the counter was courteous. The falafel were fresh but somehow the taste was lacking for us. Also, when compared to the original location and why this became so famous, it was average fare. The sandwishes were half full at best whereas earlier they would be crammed with food. That said, I'll still end up eating in future.
One of the best place for Falafel. Lots of choices for vegetarian too. Service is quick and staff is very friendly.
Been going to Mamoun's and have been to all of their locations even a few that are closed now. I was going to Mamoun's the original location since they opened in the village in NYC. I live in NYC but shop in Jersey it is safer.This location is small but not as small as the original. And you can walk right in.It is the oldest falafel restaurant in New York and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the United States.What I like about this location are the drinks. They do not have these drinks in the city.They have a mint lemonade that my husband likes a lot and I like a blackberry juice that I LOVE! I looked on menu pages and they dont have it listed. But it is on Google.I am allergic to Tahini though I love it! So the meat is too dry for me. It doesnt seem as moist as the original location but I was not always allergic to Tahini and used to have it on my meat so maybe the sauce made the difference. All in all really great food prices and location =!
So bad food ..i ordered sandwich shawarma chickenthree burnt chicken pieces..that's not what shawarma looks like .. hate this place i don't recommend it

Forgot half my order this time...my kids' dinner! Only resolution is refunding the items, they won't resend them. This is not the first time they have forgotten items. It's like nobody checks the bags before they are sent out. Definitely poor management. We were spending about $70/week with Mamoun's. Now we'll be spending that money elsewhere after tonight. It's been more than 3 strikes here and nothing changes. Good luck to anyone ordering! Hope you get all your items.
This place is a fantastic! The food is delicious. I tried the shawarma plate with falafel, babaganoush, hummus over rice and salad. The falafel is one of the best that I have tried. It is crispy, fluffy, and moist. Shawarma is so tender, slowly roasted with a nice hint of Middle eastern spices. The red hot sauce is addictive, extremely spicy but tasty. Lastly, the place is halal certified, in case that is a requirement for you.
Absolutely love falafel sandwich.Falafel by itself very smooth inside and crisply outside. Not overfried like in some places. Not oily. Taste great. Texture is great.Quick service. Friendly people.

Best Mediterranean food in Hoboken, fast and high-quality food. Specially their Chicken Kebob and Shawarma are two items to try along with Falafao and Baklava which are really popular. Now there is a two more counters where it can be ordered automatically through machine, so the waiting time to order is less.
