Italian Deli

The sandwich was ok - not bad but definitely not the best in Hoboken. The guy behind the counter didn’t seem like he cared to work there. The place was completely empty (it was around 4-4:30pm) but it took him a few minutes before he started making my sandwich. And when it was time to pay he decided to charge extra from what it was advertised on the menu board even though I paid cash. Not coming back.

Loved this deli. The guy behind the counter was super nice and friendly, he really made us feel welcome. There were a ton of locals coming in and out, which is always a good sign!I got the Johnny sandwich and it was amazing. It was roast beef, fresh mozzarella and Gravy ?. I’ve never had a sandwich with gravy but it was fantastic!! I would highly recommend this place to anybody that wants to experience a real Italian deli.

First time here unexpectedly saw this place as I was trying to find a new spot to eat at. Order a chicken parm hero with extra motz. Took a while which I personally don’t care as long as the food is good I can wait. I get my hero and I go to eat it in my car. The motz is cold. The chicken cutlet was like warm not hot. So I go back and I tell them that the cheese is cold. No apology instead they’re bricking about it in the back in Spanish. The woman said what’s he complain that I burned it? I heard them all just going on about it. Also the bread was super toasted and hard. Didn’t ask for the bread to be toasted but that’s usually a sign that the bread is old and stale. Once I got it back it was still just warm not hot. Also not sure how many slices of motz normally goes on their hero’s but I did ask for extra and there was 4 pieces which covered the hero from end to end. Didn’t feel like extra unless they only give you 2 slices per hero.

If you look up "hidden gem" in the dictionary, Luca Brasi's Hoboken should be the first thing to come up. AWESOME selection of breakfast, hot food, deli meats, and prepared foods. They have one of the best bolognese/meat sauces I've ever had in my life. Also, their prosciutto sandwiches come with a MOUNTAIN of meat.

Just call or stop in and place your order already. Real old school deli(The rice balls are no joke)

I ordered the Johnny sauce on the side. These guys drenched my sandwich and by the time it came it was a wet uneatable log. Gross

Love their ham and mozzarella sandwich. Service is great highly recommend it.
