Let me start off by saying this, there ARE better Johnny rockets out there. This one is not it! The food is not the best. I asked for a PHILLY CHEESE STEAK and barely cheese. The bread was old, wasn’t even soft or fresh to eat. The food in general makes you not want to eat there anymore. As for the staff, not very knowledgeable. Like I said this Johnny rockets is not it.

Terrible service. Even worse food. Xochitl was a very bad waitress with no communication skills. She couldn't even tell us there was a problem with part of our order. She also made sure people who came in after us got there orders before us. I ended up telling her to remove the item and left in disgust.

Great Food , Great Staff , Great Location, I'll be there soon , AGAIN

Eating at this particular Johnny Rockets had to have been the worst dining experience of my life. Me and 5 of my friends decided to visit Hoboken for our first time and decided to stop here to eat. The service was terrible. Restaurant was dirty. No drinks, no appetizers, no food for 50 minutes. We were sat at the table with nothing for almost an hour. At one point I got up to ask how long it would be for our drinks and appetizers. They were just sitting on the counter and the waiter told me to just take them. We ended up waiting around an hour and a half for our food. On a $100+ dollar tab and being one of 3 tables in the restaurant this should never happen and i will not be returning here.

Went in last night and I am never going back there again. Run down place with irresponsible, careless, rude staff. Every single employee was on their phone the whole time we waited. The short girl at cashier with buns hair first forgot to put in our order then she she put in the wrong order and had an attitude when we told her that’s not what we ordered up. Also, she wasn’t wearing any gloves while handling food and cash. Matter of fact, not one single employee had gloves on. Disgusted and disappointed that we took a drive to go there. The milkshake was watered down without any thickness. Inexcusable and unacceptable. The owners should really look to revamp the whole place and get new staff that actually does their job.

Loved johnny rockets from the college days of heading to the boardwalk and stopping off after a day in the sun. This place smelled like dirty mop water, staff was tired, no ranch dressing, or blue cheese. It felt old and dilapidated. I hope the renovate at some point

store: it was moderate clean, it had that old vintage diner vines which i found aesthetically pleasing.service: the waitresses seem like they were in a very bad mood and they were kind of rude in the beginning. The energy uplifted when i started talking to them. however my food took way too long to be served and i only order their chili fries.food: the quality of the food was terrible, i expected more of a homey diner quality food. They served me something i could get at 7/11. The place was not busy at all, that is why i decide to dine in here. i don’t know why it took a really long time and the quality of the food was displeasing.*bonus- there was a hoboken local name “johnny sinatra” apprently he told us he was a first cousin of the singer frank sinatra. i had a couple convos with him and he started singing in the middle of the restaurant like it was a movie scene.overall i believe customer service needs improvement as well with quality control. i know that this restaurant could seem moderately cheap but the food they served me was just very upsetting.

I haven't been here in years but I was craving a burger and fries and a shake. Restaurant is clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. Music was from the 50s & 60s (as it should be in a "Malt Shop") and everything was great. I had cheesefries and a double rocket burger. I also had a vanilla milkshake and it was DELICIOUS. There are many places to eat in Hoboken but I'm glad I went here. I noticed they turned away people that weren't wearing face masks when they came in: GOOD. If you haven't "gotten it" by now - don't come in. They were standing near the entrance, which is where my booth was. At least enter with a face mask on and then take it off once you are seated to eat. That's how 2022 works.

Do not ever go to this restaurant, I decided to get a crispy chicken sandwich. They give me this extremely dry chicken sandwich with raw bacon !!?? They workers are so lazy they didn’t even wanna fry the chickens breast & tbh There’s plenty of better restaurants in this area . you should definitely save your money. Because they really do not care about their customers at all and it the meat smells sour. If I can rate this a zero star I would!? This is not it Johnny rockets #gross

SO ghetto. Classless manager and staff. Yelling behind the counter. Not checking in with customers or giving silverware upon arrival. I shouldn’t have to hear staff over my table. Can’t even have a decent conversation at dinner. Super unorganized. Kicked some customers out for not wearing a mask but let others in. Just overall disgusting service don’t waste ur time here
