First time eating here, food was excellent and service was wonderful. It is BYOB and we brought Sangria and the owner took the time to give us glasses with slides fruit a definite plus. Unfortunately, the plus was taken away when my husband was charged for a refill of ice tea ( hand made not in a otter which I would understand). Ice tea is so cheap to make.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and finally has the chance to swing by and get a pie for take out. It could have been a perfect pizzaexcept it was SO salty, I couldn’t even get through 2 slices. Not sure if this issue was specific to that night or not but it unfortunately made this pie almost inedible.
The staff at Johnny Peps really makes you feel welcomed! Frank made sure we had everything we needed. Pizza is terrific. Fried calamari and Eggplant parm pizza hit the spot! I will be returning soon!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The service is always 100% and the food is consistently good. Never had a bad meal there-the Marsala is my favorite. Best of all it’s family/kid friendly!
Got delivery with Uber Eats from Johnnys. The pizza was inedible - could not bite through the cheese. Sauce was filled with garlic, huge clovers hidden under the cheese. All the food was ice cold when we got it, but the pasta was actually hard. Seemed al dente with a touch of dryness. Vodka sauce was ok, very oily. The burrata was also only ok. Best thing we had was the roasted potatoes. Overall for $80 I’d dine somewhere else.
We did a lot of research before picking out the restaurant for out rehearsal dinner and ultimately chose Johnny Pepperoni’s because of the great food, the attentive staff and the ability to customize the menu.The staff really worked with us. We invited 20 friends and family and we’re not disappointed.Our favorites were the calamari and meatballs. Great option for a big party.
We have dined in and ordered out many times since we moved to Hoboken. The food is always great! I would love to give a 5 star rating, but after the other night I can’t. As soon as we were seated, the bus boy greeted us with warm bread and water. He gave more attention to our table than the actual waiter. We heard the owner/manager (we think) scolding the bus boy, telling him if he doesn’t do the job correctly he can go back to where he came from. The way he was talking down to the bus boy was shameful, I felt embarrassed even overhearing the conversation that could’ve been handled privately. Also, the bus boy was doing a great job at least with our table (there were only 2 other tables there). Lastly, Hoboken reinstated the mask indoors mandate and both the owner and our waiter didn’t have masks on. We won’t be back for a while.
