actually attended a wedding for 150 people , bar is next to two hosting areas and food was passed as well as buffeted\\nwith above average fair ( shrimp sliders etc..).bar selection was slightly above average and hand poured. pleasant atmosphere and neutral tasteful decor.

I was here for Mothers Day. I frequent the restaurant and have always loved it. I was disappointed when the week before I found out the menu was made smaller. This should have been told at the time when the reservation was made. It was rushed. They didn’t want to give more of what you liked as usual. It was a totally different experience and disappointing after the rave reviews I gave everyone. My advise is to not introduce this to people on a holiday

The ambience , the food, the staff, absolutely awesome. Must go place for quite place to dine with friends or family. Limited Vegetarian cuisine.

Very tasty brunch place with one fixed price for tons of small plates! You get a ton of food and it’s all very good. They just constantly bring you courses of food and if there’s anything you want more of, they’ll bring out seconds! Highly recommend for a fancy brunch.

We went for breakfast and we had an excellent experience! Everything was good and the service was great! We will have to go back for a brunch on a Sunday!

Brunch on Sunday was amazing. Great way to handle so many people by serving food family style, with so many offerings. All were delicious! But we had food left over on the table and wanted to take a slider or croissant to my son upstairs in the room and were told no - it’s not allowed. Ridiculous rule of the restaurant! Halifax would rather throw out all the remaining food on tables than allow us to take what we paid for up to our room ??? Next time I stay at the W I will have brunch elsewhere.

Terrible Very slow service Very rude server who tried serving our birthday cake before even serving the first round of all the buffet dishes. Completely ruined the party

Loved this place. The food was delicious. The tea time servings during brunch were perfectly paired. Highly recommend for any occasion. Views of the city is a plus too!

Great food and services. I usually have not had much luck with hotel restaurants but Halifax proved me wrong. Highly recommended dishes are the lobster rigatoni, seafood cavatelli and the roasted squash. For desserts, the apple fritters and ginger cheesecake were absolutely delicious: not too heavy yet very flavourful. Food came very quickly and service was attentive.

Went for Sunday brunch. We were too late for the $46 brunch seating so we sat at the bar and ordered a la carte $6/small plate. The atmosphere was lively. There was a big baby shower taking the entire side room, a 1yr old birthday and another celebration all happening at the same time. I like how management allows for flower centerpieces and other party decorations. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the view of NYC is gorgeous from there.I ordered a spicy bloody mary, the scrambled eggs, and the sweet potato and ricotta crostini. Servings are small, but that is expected for the price. Unfortunately I wasn't blown away with the flavor in any of my two selections. My friend ordered the beef sliders and the french toasts; those were better in terms of flavor. For some reason, my friend's food items took over half an hour to arrive, and the bartender disappeared. I spoke to the hostess as I was sitting by her, and she looked at the empty bar and said "we have been very busy today" when I told her my friend's order had not made it yet. She made no efforts to help. I ended up eating by myself. The bartender came back and apologized for the food being late. He comped my friend's two food items, which was not requested but appreciated.Overall, I think this is a nice place to go if you want to have chatty brunch with friends without having huge expectations on flavor. $46 for all you can eat plus a bottle of bubbles seems like a good deal.
