I've been living in Hoboken for almost five years now and I still haven't gotten around to trying the roast beef special. We finally decided to check it out July 4th weekend. The sandwich is only available on Thursdays and Saturdays. All the reviews said to come early before they sell out early, but we weren't able to make it in until 11:30 AM. Luckily, they still had the sandwich (maybe be everyone was away from the holiday weekend?). We weren't even sure how to order but the guy in front of us was ordering like a pro, so we just copied him. We ordered one roast beef with mozz and gravy and hot peppers to share. The sandwich is $20 (pretty steep) but it's big enough for two people. I must say it was a bit overrated. I don't know if it was because we ate it 20 minutes after the fact, but I didn't love it. I thought the sandwich would be super soggy but it surprisingly (and thankfully) wasn't - probably because of the bread they used, which is why I didn't like it. It was very chewy and had a burnt flavor to it but I guess if you're going to make a sammie with gravy, you need something sturdy. The roast beef and mozz were really good but bread plays a major factor. Not sure I'd trek back but I am glad that we finally got to try it, so now we can check it off our Hoboken list.
Had the chicken cutlet sandwich and an Italian sandwich there for the first time. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the "mutz" was to die for. Next time I go there I'm definitely buying pounds of it.
Split a large roast beef an mozz. My half had hot peppers and the other did not. The roast beef was flavorful. The mozz was plentiful on the sandwich. My wife felt it was a little excessive and she pull a chunk of it off her half. The peppers were hot, but not overwhelming. Overall we agreed it was a very good sandwich. The only drawbck was there was no menu when we ordered and we felt like we needed to follow protocol or get "no sandwich for you".
What an amazing old-school Italian deli located in the heart of Hoboken. I order the Italian sandwich with fresh mozzarella and cherry peppers. It was delicious and join the clean plate club real fast. If you are going during lunchtime, I would recommend calling in your order ahead. I waited nearly 15 minutes to order when I came at 1 PM. I'd high recommend!
Great roast beef sandwich with fresh mozzarella and gravy on the side. Would highly recommend Fiore to anyone who likes a delicious sandwich.
My girlfriend walked in, first of all there was no menu on wall , owners were talking loud about something wrong between them, she’s still waiting there , finally somebody came out from kitchen and asked her what she wanted , she order a regular sandwich with prosciutto and provolone, he fricking gave her a yesterday’s bread. You don’t keep that bread from yesterday when the line is up the other block. Be polite and nice first then keep fresh bread on your counter, she literally throw 10 dollars on the garbage…. Come on …..
Had to try the roast beef sub! Definitely met expectations though I wish there had been more garlic red peppers on it... Mozz was absolutely incredible, and the staff though loud, boisterous and profanity ridden were friendly and helpful.

We were told that we had to stop by Fiore’s for their Saturday special of roast beef, gravy, and fresh mozzarella, and I’m so glad that we did! She may not be the prettiest sandwich, but damn was it delicious. The workers picked up on the fact that we were from out of state, and when we said we had never tried their mozzarella, they kindly handed us a few pieces to try. Seriously the best mozz I’ve ever had! From now on every time I visit my friend in Hoboken, I’m making time for a sandwich at Fiore’s.
