We ordered panini. It tasted like an airplane food ? the dessert is very sweet and custard cream tasted only sugar and flour

The food is good but the service has always been fairly slow and generally just the quality of service has really deteriorated of late.My boyfriend had an unpleasant experience recently on Sunday when he walked in at 8.10 and was shouted at they don’t open till 8.30. He’s not the sensitive type but found it really rude. I was just served at lunch recently by a new, unhappy looking face. Hair pulled back. Glasses. Extremely matter of fact, no smile, no information. Makes you feel uncomfortable and like you don’t want to come back.

Please train your staff on customer service. The staff member with glasses, she needs to know what it means to be in service industry.Food is good. But, I’ll never recommend people there until service improves.

This bright, beautiful place has more stuff than you think. Do yourself a favor and look around a bit. Cakes, ready made pasta lunches, soup - there's plenty that you may miss. The food and pastries are always good.

Good coffee at decent (Hoboken) prices, nice baristas, solid Italian cookies/pastries (arguably the best in Hoboken since Giorgio's closed), and a really surprisingly good bkfast/lunch selection for a place that looks from the outside like your regular old area corner coffee/bakery cafe. Only thing I'm not a fan of here is the croissants, which often lack the crispy outside I like in the good fresh stuff (and I may not love whatever butter they use).

Sadly the worst matcha latte I tried and in latte you barely could taste coffee...only milk

I come here in the morning for a pastry and a double espresso. The place is clean and pastries are delicious but coffee is fresh so you will wait for them to prepare at that moment

Terrible and rude service. They were not interested in being nice or us having a pleasant experience - people really underestimate the power of being nice! Croissant was terrible, burnt and not fresh. The only good part was the whatever this rice ball was hence the 2 stars. Won’t be coming back here again!

My Italian partner and I, visiting from Rome, stopped at this bakery today with a close friend for some pastries, coffee, and a chat. We were *so* pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The pastries were great, and upon discovering a fellow Italian, the friendly owner offered us a coffee. Though not familiar to my partner, the 7-layer cookie was great. The chestnut-chocolate cake was delicious, and the pumpkin pie was lovely, too. The pasticciotti, cantucci, and pine nut cookies looked so good we took some home for our American family, along with another small chestnut chocolate cake. Highly recommend, with an Italian's stamp of approval. Bravi!!

Great food but orders often get delayed and take forever and you are just sitting around wasting your time waiting. Not a great experience- wish the owner would look into this as the food is good but the experience leaves you questioning if you should order from here or a bunch of other spots in hoboken. A shame really. Waited 90 minutes after 3 calls to the restaurant saying the driver is on the way for last 20 minutes i finally gave up and just asked for a refund. Not a great customer experience.
