Carpe Diem is one of my favorite bars. I've been going here for years. They know how to make your drinks jsut right and their wings are to die for. Their burgers are also amazing. The atmosphere is extremely friendly if you're a first timer. You can sit at the bar or at a table near the bar to keep it festive, or sit in the back to make the ambiance more romantic/sensual. This place has survived through many things and will continue to thrive.
Walked in with a friend without reservations on Friday night, place was very crowded but they were able to seat us.Service was prompt and server was attentive. As a matter fact several servers waited on us to make sure we were OK.Dinner was good and portions were decent size. They had a few local craft beers on tap. Highly recommend!

Great food and drinks, friendly staff, and warm atmosphere. Accomodating service where the staff will make sure patrons are comfortable and have a great experience. Bonus for the drink pairing suggestions with the food menu. Highly recommend.
Nice place, but small and gets crowded quick. Also they run out of certain foods. That said the food is good, service is good and it's cozy by the fire on a cold day.
My 7 friends and I left the nearby Gravity Vault and walked in here without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon when the place was packed. I expected we would be turned away, but the staff immediately opened up the upstairs party room and got us seated and settled with glasses of water. The service was great and we loved the famous buffalo wings we got as an appetizer — nice and crispy and super flavorful! The french fries and sweet potato fries were next level and some of the crispiest, best ones I’ve had in a while. We also couldn’t get enough of the Moon Sauce that came with them, either. The pulled pork I got was tasty, too. I also enjoyed my Magners ($7) and was glad they had cider options on the extensive beer menu! Lots of options on the menu whether you want a sandwich, burger, or even a stir fry or shepherds pie. On top of that, the prices were pretty reasonable — about $15 for a pulled pork sandwich that came with fries! For Hoboken, that’s an awesome deal. I would totally come back here!
The buffalo chicken wrap is the best I've ever had. The mozzarella bites are also delicious! It's a really cozy spot with a great fireplace too.

The California burger came out really great. Great place to hangout with friends as they have got some seating area. Although they have small bar area , its a cute bar . Outside seating makes it worth while as well. Their decor for Halloween was great too.
