don’t get the fish tacos. The tortilla is so rough that I thought I was going to break my teeth biting into it and it had no flavor. The only nice thing about this place is the ambiance. The food is overrated and while the prices match every other restaurant, it’s still not worth it. I’ve came here twice and it hasn’t stood out to me either time.
The best Lychee martinis in Hoboken. A fun low key bar feel restaurant with an amazing Happy Hour. 10 dollar cocktails, 5 dollar draft beer and 8 dollar wines, it just doesn’t get better.Oh but it does. One of the few places where happy hour has lots of food options as well.We ordered the Crispy Calamari which was pretty decent.From the main menu we ordered the Belo Burger. The bun could have been better, but the meat patty was delicious.The bartender himself was cool and friendly.Definitely a great place for a chill evening.PS they only do happy hour at the bar area and not the regular tables.
Very very interesting cocktail selections. The Sunflower with the Ghost pepper tequila had a great refreshing kick to it.Good ambiance and great service.
This is my bar, this is where I come when I want a good drink, good conversation and a good meal. The staff is friendly and passionate about what they do. The owner is in it for his customers, and everything is overall fantastic. If you’re looking for “The Spot” in Hoboken, come to Belo Bar.
Took my husband here for his 64th birthday dinner on a recommendation and was not disappointed! This gem checked all the boxes in my book! We will definitely be coming back!! Thanks to the great bartender and the owners who went out of there way to make sure everything a that Carlos had an amazing experience!
Food is mediocre. French fries tastes just maybe a bit better than McDonald’s. Fish was too salty. Drinks are fine. Our waiter was not nice. Service was slow and doesn’t react well to questions. No wonder it was one of the few places available on a Friday night.
Came here for cocktails on a Saturday night. Was busy as expected but service took maybe 20+ minutes. Delicious cocktails. Menu looks good but service is slow.
Came here and had some good drinks and amazing food! I had the penne arabiata with a choice of salmon on top. I never tried salmon with pasta before and this was incredible. It was so soft and juicy and the skin had a nice crisp. The pasta was Al dente and the sauce was really good! Also great truffle fries too!
Very interesting drinks out of the ordinary and great food selection. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer then the steak w/fries and the Atlantic Salmon. Both entrees were superb and very friendly wait staff. Perfect date night spot before going out on the town.
The food and services are absolutely outstanding! Very busy (and noisy, and young) place. Several people came to the table to inquire about our wishes and made sure that every little detail was take care of! We had Bronzino with puttanesca sauce and salmon with marinara - all cooked to perfection! Margaritas were made just right, and cappuccino reminded me of best restaurants in Italy! Will definitely be back, highly recommend!
