The BEST sushi in the Hoboken/Jersey City area, by far. Generous portions, fresh fish, great yakisoba as well!I have ordered from here literally 2x per month for almost three years, they are consistently fantastic.
My kids have become Hibachi addicts and this is the best local place to satiate their cravings... friendly staff and a very talented Hibachi artist who worked 2 grills back to back without missing a beat... the portions are enough to satisfy Honer Simpson's "all you can eat" crave and it's always a fun night out with family and friends... we also often order their sushi for takeout and either we're very lucky with our timing or their seafood is always fresh - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt... Highly recommended.
Ordered through Uber Eats: delivered early, no missing items, well-packaged, fresh and everything delicious! I also really appreciated the menu variety and options. We got gyoza, two different sushi rolls and a hibachi dinner. They even threw in some melon candies. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!
Super disappointing experience trying to order from this restaurant. I placed a birthday dinner to be sent to my bestfriend since i couldn't connect with her to celebrate her birthday. The order was placed at 1:30pm for a 7:30pm delivery. At 7pm the order was canceled. And not only was it canceled but there was no notification pop up so i wouldn't have known about it if i didn't just randomly decide to check on the order... i had to frantically find another restaurant to send dinner to her since I've already told her to expect dinner. How sad is it to expect dinner that never shows up? And there was no explanation and no apology.. just in ubereats that the order has been canceled. I'll never order from this restaurant again and i will not be using ubereats for a very long time
Fish is not fresh! I ordered sushi urchin and sashimi regular, they didn’t taste fresh, but I ate them anyway and in a couple of hours I started feeling so bad. Wish I didn’t eat it at all.
So happy to have tried Ayame! Everything was so fresh & flavorful. They have a great miso soup as well, probably one of the best in town. Will definitely be going here more frequently!
My go to for hibachi!!! My all time favorite place!! So yummy!
Hadn't been to one in a while, but my Grandson, Wife and I really enjoyed it and had fun with the Hibachi Chef and the Sushi was Awesome...Reservations a must for accommodations of time frames...

I love this place! One of the first sit down restaurants we tried after moving here. Absolutely delicious. Staff is super friendly, food is THE BEST, super clean inside seating. They have outdoor seating as well. A very large selection to choose from on the menu. This has easily become a favorite already. Have come back multiple times already and I can't wait to go back. Rock shrimp is so good I can't recommend it enough!
