Pizza is good, thin, crispy crust with good ingredients (Flavorful). Garlic knots tasted more like bread bites.
I've been in Hillsborough 7 years and tried all the pizza around, this place is my favorite.
Hands down - - Mariana's makes the best pizza in Hillsborough and maybe the surrounding area. And I am a true pizza lover! The crust is more on the thin side but no so thin that the toppings weigh it down or turn the whole thing to mush. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a very nice flavor. They use just the right amount of sauce and it doesn't overpower the rest of the pizza. The cheese is of good quality and Mariana's doesn't skimp. The toppings are proportionate to the rest of the pizza - - not too much, not too little. We've never had a bad pizza from Mariana's and we've had quite a few. We even freeze leftover slices and reheat them in the oven and they are more delicious than fresh pizza from other places.
Famly owned business. Their food is excellent. Especially like the cheese steak with the works. Dinners are equally great. With so many pizza places to choose from, this is definitely at the top of the list.
I know they have the Latin menu, but I’d suggest sticking to the Americanized fare. Had tacos once and the tortillas were quite dry, and the meats were definitely dried out from being stored in the fridge. Luke warm food is not my desired meal... perhaps it was a Sunday afternoon and close to their opening, but definitely could have done better on keeping the tortillas from falling apart.
Where do I start? Nester put together a graduation feast of kings! And he even agreed to let me pick up a day they aren't usually open which was appreciated and he didn't even know me. Rice and beans, penne vodka, chicken parm, chicken marsala smothered in fresh mushrooms swimming in wonderful sauce, tasty tacos, salad with homemade dressing, and tangy crunchy wings.So. much. food. Made to perfection - no soft mushy noodles, no soggy or greasy over-oiled chicken. I can attest the day after, every thing is as good if not better than the day before which is great because there was so. much. food. We fed a family gathering, then graduates as they poured in later in the day, and still had leftovers of the best kind for the many teenagers in this house as well as lunches for work. You know when you have doubts endorsing a place because you're not sure it's for everyone? Zero reservations about giving the highest of recommendations. You and your guests will be taken care of.
Did not really expect very much with the Italian/Latin combo but was VERY pleasantly surprised! Everything is awesome, we eat here all the time! We have a gluten and dairy allergy in our house so we get a gluten free meat-za (pizza crust with sauce and meats, no cheese) and in my opinion it’s better than their regular pizza! It’s so good, very crispy, super flavorful and you do not feel like you missed out on anything

With our central air broken during the hottest week of the year, I was not cooking. I decided to order take out from local restaurants we hadn’t tried yet. I never made it past Mariana’s. Not only are the selection and portions massive, the food is OUTSTANDING! Best salads we ever had. Best sandwiches ever to be scarfed down in our home. Let’s talk salad, many options from the expected (chef salad, antipasto, Caesar, etc.) to the unique (the one with blackened chicken, mango, and coconut! Swoon!). Salads are huge and if you get one with grilled chicken or shrimp, you might not be able to finish it — generous, cooked to order portions. Just amazing. Sandwiches also killer and they come with a side salad. I was skeptical about a place with two cuisines — Italian and Latin. But Mariana’s does both beautifully! Their pizza and pasta are also delicious! Oh…and the garlic knots. Just get them. AMAZING! In addition to awesome food, there’s the fantastic service and value! They never once messed up our order. They actually read the “added instructions” and every dish was perfect every time. Delivery was timely, courteous, and cool about calling so as not to set off our six-dog alarm. Price? You will not believe what you get for the price! These are portions that fill even a teenage boy. I know, I’ve got one and can he eat! So, thank you Mariana’s for making this week a pleasant surprise. You’ve earned our business. Even when the new air conditioner is installed, we’ll be back often. I’ve bookmarked your super user friendly online menu. Gotta go…your delivery person is here!
