The only thing that made a rain delay on the tarmac at Newark. Somewhat enjoyable

Delicious sandwiches, and so many to choose from

This is the third time that I order and got stiffed from them. I order online it said 20 minutes 45 minutes later no food. It wasn't busy people walk in order and got their food I still waited the other time they always had some excuse but this time I order a salad which they have pre-made no excuse!!!!

What looks like a pretty small place turns out to have a VERY large menu. Their specialty seems to be thick and delicious sandwiches. Sandwiches is a broad term to describe food that comes on marble rye, panni, wrap, Kaiser roll, flatbread, Italian roll, etc. The choices are close to unlimited: Turkey, Pastrami, Corned Beef, Ham, Bacon, Chicken, Roast Beef, Salami, Provolone, Swiss, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, American, Cheddar, Pepperjack, etc. The good thing is that they make it easy for you by creating a menu of creative sandwich options. The only problem is they all sound so good. I selected the Cuban Panini with grilled chicken, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, flavored mayo on a grilled flatbread that was thick and delicious (see photo). My wife loved her combo of 1/2 a turkey sandwich with Russian Dressing on marble rye (photo) and a cup of vegetable soup. These guys are the sandwich kings. We will be back to try some other options.

Thank you so much to Karen and Pete at Catered Affair! They just catered my daughters bridal shower and people were raving over the food! Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful! The chicken francese, the meatballs and the penne with vodka sauce were all getting rave reviews! As usual the sandwiches were a huge hit too! Whether you’re picking up lunch or having any kind of a party, Catered Affair can not be beat!

These guys are the sandwich kings. A variety of all kinds of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I go primarily for their breakfast sandwiches which are big and thick. For example, I recently ordered egg whites, turkey bacon and Swiss cheese on a wheat roll. Combine that with a large coffee for just $8 and you also get a solid value breakfast. During the time of the virus they have set up a row of comfortable tables and chairs with umbrellas along the side of the building (see photo). The only knock on the place is the staff who are not very friendly or welcoming.

Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. Can’t believe I’ve lived here so long and have never stopped here.

The sandwiches were OK. The prices were very high especially for these times. My wife & myself are out of work, Ordered 2 half sandwiches and a soup. $27.00. The 3 workers said the place is dead. The soup was thickened with flour, instead of creme, not good. They should do a little better on prices in these bad times. What happened to the included chips or a tiny cup or mac or potatoe salad.

Good food. Always great service from the staff.

Love their food. Always fresh and tastes great!
