Love this place. Food is always great!
Great Italian eatery in such a convenient area of Hamilton. Ample parking and beautiful decor makes the dining experience a pleasantry. Plates a fair portions and the service from friendly staff have you wanting to revisit. Unfortunately I have to give it a 4 out of 5 stars for the take-out department. The restaurant is organized, clean and professional but if you steer to the take-out area, it feels like a completely different establishment. Restaurant collateral all over the place, blunt speaking staff and quick to dismiss makes you question "where is the disconnect"? Other than that, I highly encourage this location.
Parking is an issue. Wait staff was friendly but very busy on mothers day. Limited menu and high prices. I could not find anything neutral to eat. I had the sausage vodka with arugula. I did hesitate and asked about the arugula but was told that there was not that much in the dish and it cooked down but in fact it was a ton and I had to remove it (I like arugula normally). The sausage was advertised spicy but it was super spicy and I could not even eat it. The meat/cheese platter was OK. The stuffed sole was not good. The chicken dish was good. Tiramisu was good. All I wanted on mothers day at an Italian restaurant was a simple pasta dish but that was not on the menu. I see they have a high approval rating so must just be me. The MOM sign out front was very cool.
Welcome to the Burrata Burger! My first time eating here - I really wish I lived closer to this place so I could eat here more than once.The brioche was lightly buttered and crisp which gave my burger a delightful crunch to it.
We had a repast this past weekend for 50 people, and were treated so nicely by the owner, his wife, and all of the staff. We had some last minute additions, they changed the tables without issue and accommodated us without question. As a BYO, we were able to have everything we needed for our guests, and the food was excellent. I had called about 4 days prior, and this was set up easily and was also extremely affordable. Lots of our guests have been coming here for years, and will continue to be back for years to come. Thank you Iccara for making this process so easy during such a stressful time.
I just got home from Iccara. I can't rave enough about the chicken special. I paired it with delicious mashed potatoes and the green beans were super good. I also want to mention that the outdoor space is beautiful, tasteful and comfortable/cozy. Someone obviously put a lot of thought, creativity and LOVE in this space. There is also a lot of the same with the food. I definitely and enthusically recommend Iccara.
I frequent this restaurant at different times of the day different days of the week. I have never been disappointed. On my last visit one of the meals did not come out correctly and the owner made sure to investigate why and then correct it! If I could give 5 1/2 stars I would! Wonderful to go to a place where the owners/staff care? about the customers satisfaction and maintaining quality!

Amazing! We had my bridal shower here. Everything to the management, staff, decor, and food was 5 stars all around. We felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire planning process. All of our guests raved about the food. The venue itself is so beautiful we barely needed decorations. We loved it, can’t recommend enough!!
